An Unexpected Road.
Have you ever taken a road that you weren't quite sure where it would take you? My road has led me to ask searching questions - particularly as life events and circumstances begin to take me on a path I didn't quite plan for. I have discovered the thrills of being a wife and a mother, homeschooling, living life rural and being surrounded by a sweet community of friends. Ah, life as it should be. Until it no longer is. Twenty-two years ago my family was ushered into the world of disability with the birth of our fourth child. And yes, along with her birth, a new beginning for me - searching for a new normal and the grieving for what my life could no longer be. Learning to adjust to a lifestyle as a full time caregiver, I have slowly embraced the opportunity to blend my twenty-year background in fine arts, photography, graphic design, music and art into my lifestyle. This has led to the design of a line of handmade fused glass memorial gift items and home accents that I hope will encourage others as they too travel an unexpected road and experience the divine comfort of a loving Father whose grace is sufficient and presence is constant.
I'd love to hear your story. Let's walk together.
