A Legacy of Love, Well-Being, and Community
The Mpress Atelier Shop was conceived in the early stages of the 2020 global pandemic as a I felt a calling to make fabric facemasks, focused on delivering donations to first responders. With materials scarce I used fabrics & notions from my mother, a dedicated nurse, which she had selected to make her famous quilts. Soon I was commissioned to create masks for family, friends, and their loved ones. The community of people wearing my masks continues to grow organically & exponentially. As shops & community re-open, the shop is blossoming with exciting capsule collections, with proceeds funding mask donations to school children all over the country.
All items in the shop are handcrafted in limited quantities by expert artisans who are innovators in their field, while keeping close to the traditional manufacture giving you a truly one-of-a-kind piece. With a focus on sustainability & ethical practices, I carefully select artists who work with natural materials and utilize production methods that are in harmony with the environment.
I continue to be inspired by the healing power that wearing the perfect piece of clothing or accessory can bring. This has been the foundation of my career in Theater, Fashion & Entrepreneurship, a journey I began in New York City for the past decade. I am proud to bring beauty into this world while I continue a legacy of love, healing, and community.
