Mrs. D's Fiber Odyssey

Suring, Wisconsin

Top shop for gifts.

Buyers bought gifts from this shop and gave them 5-star reviews!

Announcement    Thank you for visiting Mrs. D's Fiber Odyssey, formerly Frozen Tundra Fibers! I appreciate your patience while I'm rebranding my shop and everything that goes with it.

Everything in my shop is handmade by me with love.

I've been a fiber artist and mixed media artist for most of my life. I love all fiber arts and the tools involved in creating it.

I've been making spindles, lucets, looms, and other fiber tools for over 15 years.

Most of the wool and fiber I work with comes from local, Wisconsin farms! While I dye some of my own wool and roving, I don't always have the time to dye, so I try to buy locally dyed wool roving to use in my yarns and my art. I also buy roving from other Etsy fiber artists that are within the USA and Canada.

Orders ship within 48- 72 hours of received payment, unless otherwise noted.

About MrsDsFiberOdyssey

Sales 415
On Etsy since 2011

Everything in my shop is handcrafted by me with patience and love.

It has taken awhile to notice that there have been changes made on Etsy concerning handmade goods. I've noticed that a lot of sellers are embracing the new change that allows their designs to be made by another party, outside of their shop. I want my customers to know that everything in my shop, with the exception of vintage items, is handmade by me. I have no helpers.

I've been spinning wool, knitting, and crocheting since I was about 8 years old. As I got older, I began processing and spinning other fiber. When my husband and I were married, he asked why I wasn't selling my yarn and hand knit items. I got started on eBay, then was led to Etsy at the direction of a good friend that suggested I would get more exposure.

I've had tons of help, in the form of inspiration and moral support, from my family and friends and I'm both thankful and grateful.

My blog can be found here: (http://frozentundrafiberarts.wordpress.com.

Thank you for visiting Frozen Tundra Fiber Arts by tldudenhoeffer! I've been a fiber artist and mixed media artist for most of my life. I love all of the fiber arts and the tools involved in it.

I believe the only way to get the kind of yarn you truly want is to make it yourself.

I've been processing fiber since I was a child; spinning yarn for over 40 years; making spindles and other fiber tools for over 20 years; and creating mixed media tree sculptures for over 10 years.
