What a delightful experience to receive such a beautifully presented little treasure in the mail! I am in awe at the attention to detail in the packaging alone...things like this make all the difference. I love the pendant - it was going to be a gift, however, I don't want to part with it now.

A Love Affair With Porcelain...
My earliest memories of pottery were as a little girl playing in my Nanna's ceramic studio. I come from a bloodline of obsessive creators, winemakers, scientists and potters, the urge to create is in my nature. I've recently started silversmithing to set the porcelain in one of a kind sterling silver settings, because, let's face it... I love to play with fire.
In 2009 I was making and wearing my own porcelain jewellery, things that I had imagined and could not find in the stores. I didn't know it yet, but I was a walking advertisement for the future Mrs P brand. The more I made, the more people wanted to buy. After every firing, the pieces would sell out so fast, and that was just locally, from home, literally on the kitchen table.
Things grew quickly from there, Magazine interest, internet sales and wholesale enquiries followed. I had to learn quickly how to run this business and keep up with making. To this day, I haven't even had the time to write a business plan. It seem Mrs Peterson Pottery has a will of it's own.
I've been lucky enough to stock to some high profile places, The Art Gallery of New South Wales, The National Gallery of Australia, The National Portrait Gallery, fashion label High Tea With Mrs Woo. I've had products featured in Country Style Magazine, The Sydney Morning Herald, local and national press, and stocked to over 60 stores in Australia and overseas. Ok, this is the part where I sit back and say "you're doing ok Mrs P!". All from my little backyard studio in the Blue Mountains, all from my 2 hands.
It is such a pleasure to provide a quality, one of a kind product, provide honest customer service and run an ethical business where passion and values are the bottom line. It seems money and opportunities always flow from there. If you truly love what you do and live with a grateful heart, things work out somehow. My work is infused with great love. Something rare in this world.

I make all my pieces from my little mountain studio in the Blue Mountains about 2hrs from Sydney Australia. Every piece is made by me, by hand, from scratch. This a long process with many many steps. It takes patience and passion, but the rewards are all worth it. I am a one woman show and do everything from making to packaging and paperwork!

ISN'T PORCELAIN FRAGILE!!??
I use quality materials and test them all for wear and tear. Porcelain is a strong material, and is fired to a high temperature to ensure strength and durability.
Please be CAREFUL when wearing or using your items and use common sense ie, rock climbing and jewelry and not a good idea! I take no responsibility for misuse of items or breakages due to rough handling. Porcelain is also precious, treat it with care! Don't drop it on the concrete or sleep in your earrings!!!
