Seamstress meets ski patroller/merchant marine captain
Our store has been remodeled, modified and cyberdized over the course of our 27 years together. Kathy (me) was a college dropout/seamstress who met Todd at a ski area. We immediately hit it off and starting making custom ski/sailing clothing that wasn't available back in the early 80s.
We opened a bricks and mortar store in 1987 which was successful. When we noticed the cheap goods starting to flood into the market from Asia we decided it was time to sell. We sold the store and production when we both turned 29. Our passion at that time was sailing so we headed off sailing/chartering for a few years until our first child was born.
When we returned back to land we both took up our where we had left off with our hobbies. We started doing a couple of craft shows in the area about 6 years ago. Last year I got my act together and finally opened our etsy shop with the help of our oldest daughter who does most of our photography when she's available.

I live and work in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge in Oregon. I've been here 30 years after spending most of my life moving around the country as my father got transferred. I lived in some wonderful places but there's no place like the Gorge!
