Returns and exchange details
As Mud to Life ceramics are completely handmade, there could be variations in color, size and designs. All efforts are made to accurately show and describe as close as possible to the original work. However if they don't meet your expectation, please contact me. I'll try to replace it with something else that you have in mind or refund the purchase price. Refund/exchange will be granted only after safe return arrival of the originally purchased item. I will not be able to refund or pay any of the shipping/ return shipping cost.

In the unlikely event of the piece being damaged in transit, please take a photo of the damaged item and box and contact me immediately. I am happy to replace any items that have been damaged due to shipping as long as you contact me as soon as you receive the item. This would take additional 4-6 weeks production time due to the nature of handmade pottery process. If this timing doesn't really work for you, I will refund the purchase price, but I will not be able to refund shipping costs.
If you purchase additional items that could be packaged together, it might lower the total shipping cost. Any shipping overages will be automatically refunded at the time of shipping. If you would like to know what the estimated total cost of shipping, feel free to contact me!

All made-to-order items take about 4-6 weeks. They are handmade from scratch every step of the way. If you are interested why it takes so long... here's a quick run-down of how they are made. They are all either thrown on the wheel or hand-built, trimmed, hand carved individually. And then... there's time for drying slowly so they don't crack. When they are completely dry and no more moisture in the clay. And then... first firing, applying glaze, decoration, finessing, second firing, assembly and finessing. You get the idea. I ship as soon as they come out of kiln!

And you might ask.... 'Why can't you have more items stocked? So I can purchase it right away!'
I am trying... to stock them up as much as I can. Mud to Life is a small shop run by one artist, 'me'! :) I make only small batches of each one. And they sometimes sell out quickly than other times.

International shipping is available! So contact me if you have any questions.
