Making functional, pretty ceramics and cozy crocheted accessories for you and your home!

My grandmother taught me how to crochet when I was in grade school, but I never did much with it until I went through numerous surgeries after being diagnosed with cancer in 2012. At that point, I was a prisoner of the couch during recovery and started crocheting scarves for friends and family. Once I had to start further treatment and was unable to work as a massage therapist any longer, I took a beginner wheelthrowing class and creating pottery became my new obsession!

I decided to turn my two loves into a small business in 2015 and so Mud&Yarn was born! Having completed treatment (and am currently NED - No Evidence of Disease!), I now spend as many hours as I physically can in the studio covered in clay. And when I get home, I work on creating pretty jewelry or crocheting something cozy.

Through all the curve balls that Life has thrown at me, I have finally found my passion and I truly hope to create pieces that will be used hard and loved thoroughly.
