I purchased this paw print pendant in memory of my dog, Ranger. He just passed away at only 3 years old, from lymphoma cancer. I wanted something to wear to remind me that he's always with me. As soon as I saw this amazing handmade pendant I knew this was exactly what I needed. It's perfect for me because it's natural, handmade and the paw print is "muddy" which makes me smile as I remember all of the muddy paw prints on my kitchen floor when Ranger went outside in the rain and snow. As messy as it was, I miss all of those muddy messes... I am extremely happy (beyond happy) with this purchase and can't begin to say enough about this shop and shop owner. She shipped the item quickly and on top of that, she's such a nice and caring person. I highly recommend this shop and know that anyone purchasing from it will be happy.

About

I Love Pottery!!

Welcome to my Etsy Shop :)

I'm a self taught creative potter. In my shop you will find one of a kind pieces all inspired by nature. Handbuilding or slab is my favorite way to create pottery. Some pieces like mugs, small bowls, salt traps and goblets I like to throw on the wheel.
Each piece is food safe, no lead and crafted to be used for everyday use. I have been creating pottery for 6 years and have also taught handbuilding for 2 years.

Pottery & ceramics take time to make. After crafting each piece they take time to dry. Which can take up to 1 to 3 weeks. Pieces are then loaded into a kiln to be bisqued fired. After the kiln have cooled down. It's then time to glazes each piece.

Glazing is a art. For the size kiln that I have it can take up to 2 to 3 days just to finish the glazing process.
Then it's time to load every piece back into the kiln and fire. After the kiln have reached temperatures ranging from 1300 to 2400 degrees and patiently waiting 24 to 48 hours it's finally time to see the final pieces! You never know what surprises you find in the klin!

I will be introducing a new line of Artisan Soaps. Which I'm really excited about sharing with everyone.
