Also, sturdy and weighty in the hand. They feel really solid. And I love the little bag they come in. I plan to keep them in the bag, when they're not displayed (cuz they're beautiful!) or in use :)

Goods that start Conversations
Kristin and Scott Fischer were looking for a dining table for their new home in Key West, Florida, and having trouble finding something just right. Fed up and committed to finding something locally made, they decided to do it themselves using wood from a local lumber store. While most of us would have stopped there, Kristin and Scott kept going—and soon enough, they had a full-fledged business on their hands: Muirwood Reclamations.
It wasn't until they were stationed back in Chicago that Muirwood Reclamations became a thought. With the weather turning cold, Scott was out to find a new hobby. He bought a bucket of rusty, old railroad spikes off of Craigslist and started brainstorming ideas. In April, 2015 he created their first Railroad Spike Bottle Opener. Quickly following was a coat rack, and wine rack all made out of Reclaimed Barnwood from southern Illinois. They also launched their Etsy store that very same month.
In May 2016, Kristin left her position in Human Resources to stay at home with their daughter and focus on building the business. Scott has transitioned from the military to a civilian professional career and Kristin has taken M U I R W O O D by the reins as their Jill-of-all-Trades.

- Custom or personalized orders
- Perishable products (like food or flowers)

- Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
Payment
Shipping
All shipping windows are for business days. Please note our shop is closed on Saturday and Sunday.
If your package is returned to us due to a buyer error (wrong address entered, etc.), you are responsible for purchasing additional shipping to have the item re-shipped to you.
Once packages are marked "delivered" by USPS, we are no longer responsible for the package. Make sure to ship your package to a secure address where the mail carrier can leave the package. If you live in an apartment complex, please contact your rental office to see if they are holding your package there. Some packages won’t fit in your mailbox so carriers will often leave packages at a manager’s office for safekeeping. You can also inquire about your package with your local post office. Sometimes they mark packages as delivered but hold on to them if they weren’t able to find a safe spot.
We are not responsible for additional import tax on international shipment. If the package is returned to sender due to a fail to pay possible import tax or pick up items and the package is returned to us, we will offer a refund of the items purchased less the shipping cost and hold the right to charge a 20% restocking fee.
