5 out of 5 starsAmazing service with a great delivery time! This was bought as a gift and sent directly to someone, so the seller offered to wrap the item as well as handwrite a card to go with it. They were fantastic to deal with and I would definitely recommend this seller!

Online Sellers of those 'must have' unusual vintage, antique and collectible items
Our extended family have been collecting antiques, vintage, and other collectible items, for over forty years but it is now time to pass on our much loved objects to new owners for them to enjoy and keep safe for the generations to come. Hence, we have opened a shop on Etsy: mullardantiques.com.
We also have our own online shop: www.mullardantiques.co.uk, where you can find a wider range of items, which may or may not be available from our Etsy shop.
We hope you love our eclectic range of vintage and antique items just as much as we have.

Frequently asked questions
Do you discount postage for multiple items?
We do offer a discount on postage for multiple items purchased in the same transaction. Please get in touch for a quote. We are delighted to help wherever possible.
Can you offer alternative/cheaper shipping?
All our products are dispatched via a tracked and/or signed for service. This is to ensure that both the buyer and seller are protected in compliance with the Etsy Buyers/Sellers Policies.
Shipping prices are based on either Royal Mail or Parcel Force signed & tracked services but we do use other couriers depending on the weight & dimensions of the package.
Since International courier prices differ significantly, we endeavour to find the most economic courier, with an equivalent service, and refund you the difference, (excluding the packing costs), wherever possible.
If preferred, contact us for a shipping quote. We will pack the item and hold it for 48 hours, to try and find you the best deal, with no obligation to buy.
Why Is Your Vintage Technology Sold As Collectible or A Display Item Only?
Most of our Antique/ Vintage technology, scientific and engineering items are sold as non-working display items/ collectibles only; unless otherwise stated.
The is because the items normally haven't been used/ tested for at least 20 years and we cannot guarantee that they will work safely or meet current HS&E legislation.
Shipping Of Items Requiring Batteries (Cells) and Electrical Plugs
Due to shipping constraints, items requiring batteries (cells) are shipped without batteries unless otherwise advised. We factor in the cost of buying a battery/(batteries) into the selling price.
Similarly, our electrical items are safety tested wherever possible and the plugs removed for transit; unless otherwise advised.
Are Your Vintage Lamps/Lighting Electrically Tested & Energy Efficient?
Unless otherwise advised, all our vintage lamps/lights have been electrically tested, which usually means that they have had some remedial work undertaken to ensure compliance with legislation, and that they pass the Portable Appliance Test (PAT).
Remedial work undertaken usually includes one or more of the following:
* Rewiring with appropriate vintage style flex/braid
* New CE marked plug top fitted along with an appropriate fuse.
* New, energy efficient, vintage style light bulb or tube fitted
* External surface cleaned or polished to remove surface dirt
Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) is usually undertaken prior to sale and/or shipping: the lamp/light is electrically tested using a flagship Seaward Europa Plus PAT tester.
