This is a really striking painting. Nailed it! Love the composition and contrasting colors. So simple, yet perfectly executed. It's unusual to see orchids that aren't staked vertically. It really makes for a beautifully composed still life against that background with the contrasting yellow from the planter. I also love how you captured the light and shadowed areas. It really draws the eye and creates a beautiful focal point. I LOVE it! Bought it soon as I saw I had etsy alerts for new listings. So I dont think it was even listed for all that long. I'll add a picture once the frame I ordered arrives. Have it propped up behind a candle in front of our fireplace right now, and it even looks great there with no frame at all. Absolutely perfect! I wanted an original cityscape painting and this not only “fit the bill” but was of a city that I briefly lived in for awhile. The colours are so vibrant, the artistry is great and the framing is beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing your talents!
