murumuru?! Say what...?*
*Just quoting myself... I responded something like this when my darling suggested a name for my art at all. I hardly thought that this could be a real "brand" later because this word cannot be pronounced without laughing or even smiling.... And THAT's the point :D This name (the name from a palm tree) which she'd seen on a hand moisturizer really cheered up a lot of people since, just like my works!
Now murumuru means joy and fun for many people who've been introduced to my world of digital paintings since then.
Then, when I totally identified myself with the name, after a few months, I explored the depht of my creativity by finding my way, my own and very personal style which I since fine tuning ;). I decided to make my facebook page my strongest "basis" for sharing my latest works and feel that it's really great for both reciveing and responding to feedbacks, building audience and communicate personally with my fans and supporters.
Recently I decided to make my dream come true and become a full-time self employed artist. It's a liberating and yet exciting experiment for me which is quite risky however I trust myself since I say: everybody could reach her/his dreams if her/his faith is strong enough to believe in it even if going thru very hard times until reaching the ever wanted goal.
I cannot categorize my art, most of the time I call my very typical, signature works simply "colorful abstracts" or "minimal landscapes", but in the future it may be subjected to change ;). For now I understood that marketing is equally important for artists as well (if it's not MORE important).Thank God I'm a two in one solution, however, to be honest with you, it's sometimes so hard to get my inner marketing guy and my intuitive artist part working together for MY (their) goal, haha! :D
But getting back to my works: I really feel them different and unique since they're very detailed digital artworks printed professionally with long lasting giclee (museum quality inkjet) technology and they have a very naturalistic detailed oil painting texture when people have a really close look on a print. People're often asking me: "Wow, what technique is this...?" and then I'm smiling proudly since they just cannot decide if it's an digital artwork or a mixed media artwork.
Also I'm glad that I'm found the ideal matted and ideally textured cotton rag paper for my prints which made my works felt really natural, sometimes as natural as a real watercolor piece.
So when it all came together my honey explored Etsy! Of course first I didn't pay it too much attention, since I didn't understand its "essence", but after about 2 weeks I explored that it's a unique community of artists and craftmen from all over the world. And I thought, hey, it IS working! Later on when I got an email on my first sale I said, hey, now I SEE it is working! ;) So these were my initial steps, well, not so long ago, but I already feel them history! ;)
And what art means especially for me? Well I use art to bring harmony to my life and making pieces which are doing the same to their witnesses. I think art exists to remind people that they're more than what they think they're. The proof for this is nothing else but our collective never fallen need for art since human beings live on earth!
You may finally ask how these abstracts are born, where are the inspiration coming from? Well, I don't exactly know, I just researching and experimenting while experiencing the results. Trying colors effect, shapes, and different techniques and eventually put down the pen and give it a title immediately which is really important to make the artwork really "finished" in this case. What I see from my hundreds of pieces is that it seems I really love bold colors round shapes and cheerful themes and it haven't be changing since the beginning. By the way, beginning: you can track back my whole evolution on my facebook page, I decided not to take down the very first pieces. Everybody has first pieces, right? I've nothing to regret about them... ;)
Well, now I encourage you after reading my long-long story (yes, I know, I know, I can speak a lot, pardon me!) if you kept on reading until this, take a look at my lil' shop, but do not forget, you'll only imagine the miracle (the texture and the details) when it's in your hand, so trust me and find "your" piece of my art, I'll be happy to have you among the collectors of my work. I'm sure some of them would look awesome in your living room... This belief keeps me motivated. I'm a friendly guy so please tell me, what you think... !;)
Have an awesome day and wish you to reach your stars!
