I'm a metalsmith, professional multi-instrumentalist musician, dog belly rubber, flower picker, and novice sailor. My studio is a tiny, adorable red shed on the wooded acre where I live in southern Appalachia. I'm a backpacker/wilderness explorer and I love to pick leaves and things off the ground, pack them out & model pieces after them. I studied metalsmithing 18 years ago at a school in Clyde, NC and then furthered my studies at Penland 15 years ago. A day off is the same as a day at work. Sail into a cove, play violin, make a piece of jewelry art, repeat.
