About

My business but your the boss!

I began making music boxes 11 years ago. I added sandblasting glass 5 years ago and the combination has resulted in some pretty interesting projects. I have always been interested in arts and crafts, from my childhood days of filling Sunday afternoons while everyone else watched football to my early career days running a group home for mentally handicapped adults in Virginia. My clients taught me that all things are possible with time, patience and practice and most importantly any job can be accomplished if you break it down into small steps. I've had opportunity over the years to teach (children and adults) and have found that to be very rewarding, fun and it's sharpened my ability to convey ideas and ask the right questions when working with my customers. Parenting 3 children to adulthood has been my most rewarding and challenging career and the one that has brought me the greatest feeling of accomplishment. Two sons and a daughter, they are my pride and joy! My dad was in the Navy so our family moved every two years this brought the added adventure of living overseas; Japan, Italy and Morocco as well as 6 duty stations within the U.S. We did a lot of sightseeing when living overseas which has given me a wealth of memories to draw from but primarily our "down" time was spent using our imaginations as there were limited toys,no television and no phones for two years at a time! If that doesn't kick start your creativity nothing will! My business came about because I love creating things and I think everyone else does too all they need is a little support from someone who can help them get from "my sister likes horses" to a music box with a design encompassing all the elements that will bring a smile to your sister's face. My business is devoted to providing a place for people to kick around some ideas, develop a plan and be the driving force in a beautiful creation that they can be proud to say "that's my project, I designed that!". Let's get started on your project!
