MyBeadedStuff's Shop Policies
Welcome to my Etsy shop! I've been making beaded works since I was six years old. That means I have more than 20 years experience making jewelry! I consider my pieces works of art (because I'm arrogant). I hope you purchase a bunch of my stuff and keep my children fed :)
I accept payment in USD through paypal. Email address is: loneremily [!at] gmail.com
I ship as soon as I get your purchase message, unless you purchase on a Sunday (obviously).
All sales are final, however, if your piece breaks within 30 days you can send me a message and we can make arrangements for me to fix the piece or exchange it with a similar product or product of equal selling price. I try to take care and make sure that my pieces will last, but they are not indestructible and accidents happen :)
I want to make shipping as cheap as possible. Most of the things I sell within the US should ship for less than $2--however, I ship in expensive packaging. You can upgrade shipping at your discretion and I will alter your purchase price. I don't mind selling internationally, but shipping overseas varies so each purchase overseas will be on a case-by-case basis. Please email if you want your product sent overseas. Refunds and Exchanges
There are no refunds; All sales final. If your jewelry breaks within 30 days you can send me what's left of it and I can attempt to fix it or you can make an exchange with a similar product or a product with the same or lesser selling price. Email Supermomcomix [!at] gmail.com if your jewelry breaks. You cover the shipping.
Additional Policies and FAQs
Beaded jewelry is delicate in nature. As such, I can't make a guarantee as to how long your jewelry will last. I've tested many different types of beading materials and I find that every material has weaknesses to it. For example, fish line/nylon thread is practically indestructible, however, it's terrible for making knots and easily breaks at the ends near the clasp where the knots are. Beading floss, the thread I prefer to use, keeps knots tied much, much better--however it is much easier to break the line, itself. Also, some of my beaded jewelry has metal extenders and thread can slip right through the chain. Also, on very hot days, metal can expand and your piece can break at the clasp and fall right off your neck, practically intact. My suggestion to consumers of beaded jewelry is to treat your beaded jewelry like fine jewelry. Don't fidget with it on very hot or cold days, don't swing it around your finger (I know that's fun but if it breaks, your beads will fly in all directions of the room--it looks awesome, but it's a pain to clean up), don't twist it at the ends near the knot, and--although this seems like an obvious one--don't pull it apart. Put your jewelry on, leave it there for all to admire, then take it off and put it safely in your jewelry box and you shouldn't have a problem with it lasting a long time.
