Announcement   {7/19 Update} Took longer than anticipated to get back to my bench. Catching up now. All orders slated to ship by July 19 are running just a few days behind. My apologies, guys. Thank you for your patience and grace during this time.

First and foremost, I'm a wife & mother and since my kids are out for summer break, that means I only have a few short weeks to drink them up. I'm of course still taking orders, filling them at night, but for my shop that means...

Convo's might take 3 business days to return.
My ship date is a FULL 3 weeks out.
Rush Orders will be faster, but it will cost you.
USPS then takes a few days to deliver your order.

As for the reviews for my shop...
I can only hope that buyers will be fair and reasonable when leaving a review for my shop. I bend over backwards to ensure that your custom order will ship as promised. Literally lose sleep over it. That being said, in all fairness, each transaction is the collaboration of 3 equal, but totally separate entities:

Information from the buyer
Creation of the item(s) by me
Transport and delivery of the order by the USPS

I can only control 1 of those 3 parts. I work as hard as possible to make sure each transaction is flawless, but I cannot be held responsible for lack of info or communication from buyers, or any delay and/or service issues that arise with the USPS. Lost or missing packages WILL be replaced or refunded based on the insurance claim, but delays and terms of service by the USPS are beyond my control. Thanks for keeping it fair, folks.

This would put you ahead of all other orders pending (WITHOUT delaying theirs). I love making this stuff, but I won't take time from my husband and kids to make it happen....so the charges for Rush Orders stem from the fact that they're facilitated from the only other time in which I have left to dip into: sleep.

I make every effort to answer all convo's within 48 hours during the week, but please understand that I'm first & foremost - beyond all else - a wife & mother. While I adore doing this & would only love it more if I were able to do it for free, MyBella takes a fat back burner to my blessings and responsibilities of life. Our weekends around here are all about family so convo's will likely wait until the following week.

As all working moms do, I try to not let the tentacles of this hobby-gone-ballistic creep their way into my personal life, yet I somehow manage to work more than full time AND volunteer without a Nanny or housekeeper.
{Praise God for a husband who steps up to help with dishes & laundry...seriously}

The bracelet was exactly to my specifications. When I did not receive my first one in the mail, the seller contacted the post service to see what was up. When no answer could be found, the seller went ahead and made a new one and shipped it out immediately. I highly recommend this product and the customer service was exceptional.

The actual item was fine-it was just my contact with this shop that caused my low score. Definitely my worst experience on Etsy thus far. Delayed shipping and not helpful. Will not be shopping here again.

So here's the WHOLE story: The listing notes "Set of Two", she selected "2 qty", for a total of 4 golf ball markers. She ignored the 3 wk est. processing time, then opted out of a Rush Order which would have ensured they'd ship in time for her deadline. Custom pieces shipped as promised, but she still sent a quite hostile message complaining about the items being "late"; she'd ignored the estimated ship date info. Upon receipt of her order, she demands a refund for her mistake of ordering 2 sets; she'd ignored product info. The title says "Set of 2", the body says "comes as a set of two", and she manually selected "2 qty" to pay. Mistakes happen, but these are not mine. The 2 star rating for my shop is totally uncalled for; just goes to show there's always truth on the other side.

As all working moms do, I have to work really hard to not let the tentacles of this hobby-gone-ballistic creep their way into my personal life, yet I somehow manage to work more than full time AND volunteer without a Nanny or housekeeper {Praise God for a husband who steps up to help with dishes & laundry...seriously}. I make every effort to answer all convo's within 24 hours during the week, but understand that our weekends are all about family so the wait may be a bit longer.

{ okay....NOW the back-story }
I was a Nanny for all of my single adult (and some of my married) life. All I ever wanted was to get married, stay home & have babies. Low standards by some accounts sure, but you know what? I had everything I'd ever wanted - and more - by the time I was 30. I'm spoiled to the core right here in my very own paradise, & I'm not even sorry!

So a few summers ago, things changed a little for me when my sister-from-another-mister (sister in law) let me help her make a couple strung bracelets. Knowing no life outside of my then 2 & 3 yr olds, I was a nervous wreck a few months later when my mother in law asked to take my kids on vacation with her for a week. The day I went to deliver them to her I handed over their clothes 'n such, shaking & with tears in my eyes. She in turn, handed me a $7 Jewelry Maker Starter Kit of my own and said "This is to keep your hands busy so that you don't come out and get them early." Within a couple months I opened up my Etsy shop and it's all taken on a life of it's own from there. It's the full-time job I swore I'd never have again, but it's also the accidental blessing that I will never take for granted.

I love creating every one of these pieces, and would LOVE to hear the story behind your purchase! Each customer, each sale is a wonderful gift for my family, and I proudly treat each one as such. In this tough economy, I'm beyond thankful for the popularity of my humble little shop AND my awesome customers!
