I love to create and love that I can share it with the world!

I began My Card Cupboard because I discovered how much I love creating with paper and ink....and the million other little things that can go into cards and tags. I loved having cards around for my own personal use, but I wanted to be able to do more so I decided to begin selling.
In the years since I opened my shop, my husband worked on and received his PhD and I was at home with our growing family, so it also helped to be able to use my hobby for a creative distraction from the demands of motherhood, and a little extra cash. :)
I grew up watching my mom work with crafts, especially around the holidays, but I didn't catch the bug until I had graduated with my degree in vocal performance, and my babies started coming to our family. Then I discovered how much I love walking through a fabric store and browsing through stamps, but I also discovered how much more I love to use those things and create something fun and beautiful.
One of my favorite things is to send my creations out into the world! And they literally have gone into parts of the world that I can only dream of visiting someday.
I hope to be able to continue to grow my little business and soon have my kids join me with their own creativity to add something new to what I have built up over the years.

In My Card Cupboard I have all handmade items that are made with paper products such as greeting cards, gift tags, scrapbook embellishments, and more!
I also have some fabric items which right now are more winter holiday themed, but I will continue to try new things!

I require all payments to be paid in full before I ship any products.
I ship all sold items within 1 - 3 business days of their purchase, unless I have otherwise discussed it with a customer.
If you need something shipped out earlier, please notify me via convo and we will work something out.
I ship all items First Class. If you need something shipped faster than First Class, please convo me. I will send Priority, but shipping rates will apply.

I accept Paypal and Etsy direct checkout.
{ IMPORTANT } Your item will be shipped to the address listed on your Etsy invoice. Please allow for a 3-5 day delivery window once your item(s) are marked shipped. Items are shipped via USPS First Class or Priority. Express shipping can be purchased at an additional cost. Please message me to ensure I can accommodate if you need to rush your order.
I will ship the stockings carefully wrapped and shipped in a bubble mailer to ensure - as best I can! - they get to you in perfect condition. Much as I would like to, I can't guarantee the post office's actions once your items leave my hands. That's why I package carefully.

To keep my shipping costs down with the other items in my shop, and to reuse, reduce, and recycle, I use cereal and cracker-type boxes to make the envelopes "rigid" for shipping. Do not worry, you won't receive any crumbs with your purchase too! Please note that simply because I use recycled boxes for part of my packing, it still costs to ship. Part of the shipping and handling fees are for the other shipping materials I use (tape, envelopes, cello bags, etc.). Plus it does take me time to carefully package up your purchases and I have to travel to the post office to send off orders. This is all part of the Shipping (and handling) fees. You may see that the postage is less than what you paid, but please remember the other parts of shipping and handling that I do. Bottom line, I do not profit from your shipping fees, nor do I refund shipping.

Please make sure that your address is correct in your etsy account. That is the address I ship to. If you would like it shipped elsewhere, please make note of that at the time of your purchase.

I do my very best to make shipping as seamless as possible. I use clear handwriting on the item being shipped, I package everything carefully, and I keep within my 1-3 business days for shipping out your items. Once I turn your items over to the post office under the terms here in my shipping policy, the rest is up to the post office! Sometimes items get lost or delayed for whatever reason. Please do not hold me responsible for the mistakes of the post office! If you know you need an item in a few days and you do not give yourself enough time, I am very sorry, but know that I've done my best to get it to you in a timely fashion!

Thank you so much for your business! I love creating and I love it when they get to you in the same condition that I shipped them. :)

Refunds and Exchanges
I make my items as closely as I possibly can to match the pictures you see in my store of each item. Please allow for minor differences in color due to your computer screen. (Any difference in that area should be very minor). Also, please keep in mind that each item is handmade, so there may be minor differences in the placement of an embellishment, or the length of your string. But, I do try to get it as close as possible!

I will not refund because of any of the minor differences mentioned above.
Also, please make note of my shipping policy....I use as much care as I can so that your item reaches you without any damage.

If there has been obvious damage to your items during shipping, please first contact me. Then return your item, and it will be fully refunded. (I will refund the shipping that you initially paid for. Any return shipping is buyers responsibility.)

With custom orders, I am VERY good about going back and forth with you as much as I possibly can to create for you the EXACT thing that you are wanting! I also send pictures of your item before your purchase of it. However, if there is a time that I just don't get it right, contact me, return your items, and you will be refunded the full amount. (Again, as a buyer, you will be responsible for the return shipping amount. I will refund the full amount of the initial shipping.)

To recap, I will refund items that have been damaged during shipping, and custom orders that are not what you envisioned. Those things will be refunded after you have returned them to me.
