MyClayDay - a play in 5 acts
Act 1 A little girl loves to create. She draws, knits, crochets, makes macramé’s, tapestries, sews, sculpts, you name it...
Act 2 The little girl becomes a teenager. Her creativity somehow goes into hiding and makes place for teenage stuff, boyfriends, geography studies and her first job.
Act 3 Her creativity resurfaces in her late twenties, now stronger than ever, and she is looking for a way to express her inner urge to create. After a few DIY attempts a friend of hers suggests signing up for a class in ceramics together. What starts as a 2 day class, turns into her discovering her passion.
Act 4 A good decade later, after attending the school of ceramics for 5 years in addition to numerous specialized ceramic courses in Slovenia and abroad, using her creativity, learning by trial and error and making some wonderful friends, buying her own kiln and focusing more and more on stoneware, she is hooked for life. And she LOVES it!
Act 5 She works hard and her creations start to pile up. What to do apart from giving her stuff away to all her relatives and friends? Another friend of hers brings her attention to Etsy and she opens her shop and starts selling at Art and craft fairs. Seeing a bright future ahead of her she is planning to quit her day job, work full time as a ceramicist and live happily ever after.
The end :)
