Shop policies

Thank you for taking the time to look at my shop and my shop policies. Please read these policies before a purchase. Once a purchase has been made you are agreeing to the policies listed below.

Please note that my bags are made in a flat that contains two cats. This means that my bags may contain traces of cat hair.

Payment
Payment Policies:
Payment for items is accepted via Paypal or personal cheque. Items will be sent once the funds have cleared and not before.

Cancellation policy:
Items can be cancelled and a full refund will be given up until the time they have been sent. After items have been sent, they may no longer be cancelled.

Returns policy:
Items can be returned within 5 days of receipt at the cost of the buyer for a refund minus the cost of postage and packaging. Please return item(s) in their original condition. Refunds will be issued once the item(s) has been received.
Shipping
Orders will be shipped within three working days of payment received, unless notified otherwise (e.g. I'm on holiday).

Shipping within the UK is by 1st class post. Normal delivery time is 1 day.*

Shipping outwith the UK is via Airmail. Please note, items may be eligable for customs charges which will be incurred by the buyer. Normal delivery time is from 5 days.*

Shipping can be upgraded to UPS shipping at the cost of the buyer. Please contact me for a quote.

Recorded delivery and additional insurance are available. If you would like either of these let me know and I will quote you for it.

Refunds and Exchanges
Items are sold as seen.

If an item is damged in transit I will be happy to receive it back for repairs. Transit charges back to me will be paid by the buyer, but I will pay for the return shipping.

If an item is lost, a full refund minus postage and packaging will be issued. Unfortunately because of the source of the material I use in my bags, it is unlikely I will be able to replace the lost item like for like.
Additional policies and FAQs
Guarantee:
Bags are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for 30 days after receipt. This does not include damage caused by mis-use/abuse, damage caused by general wear and tear or damage caused by not following the care guidlines.

If claiming on the guarantee, in the first instance please contact me.

Custom orders:
I will happily quote you for custom orders. Please feel free to contact me regarding this and I will work with you on the design of your custom order to give you what you would like.

Once a custom order has been agreed, a small, non refundable deposit may be asked for. This will be for the purchase of any materials required (e.g. cloth, zip(s), buttons, cotton etc).

When placing a custom order I will give you an estimate of when the bag will be completed. Please note that this could be a number of weeks as I do not run my Etsy shop full time.
