Originally from Los Angeles, California, I moved to New York City to pursue my career. I found employment at Sotheby’s auction house, where I honed business strategy, research acumen, and organizational skills. Over time, I became liaison to all specialist departments worldwide, managed all marketing emails, and delegated administrative tasks.

Transitioning into the fashion world, I became second in command at high-end fashion handbag company MZ Wallace's Flagship store in SoHo. My customer service and client management skills strengthened, developing a strong brand loyalty for MZ Wallace.

I founded My Grandma’s Closet in August of 2009 as a part time endeavor while I finished my undergraduate degree. Named for my Grandma Sylvia's amazing fashion sense, My Grandma’s Closet was established to showcase my favorite hand picked vintage items. In a very short time, I acquired a steady clientele and watched my business expand exponentially in just a couple of years. By 2011, the demand for my product propelled me to launch a wholesale side to the company.

I graduated from California State University at Northridge with a Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing in May of last year. This accomplishment allowed me to focus entirely on expanding the growth and success of My Grandma’s Closet. I was approached by the Fashion Director of Urban Outfitters in Hollywood, and I became a featured seller and a vintage buyer for the Hollywood store. In 2011, I was contacted by the head buyer of Urban Outfitters. As a result, my product is for sale on the Urban Outfitters website and various store locations throughout the country.

I source, style, and sell iconic vintage clothing in Los Angeles. Beyond the inter-webs, I am a working wardrobe stylist. I have been hired by professional photographers to style high fashion editorials for magazines, and I am a working wardrobe stylist instructor for fashion photography classes at the renowned Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA.

My passion for revival vintage has been featured in print photography, film, television, and movies. In short, I'm a fashion stylist, entrepreneur, and color-blocking genius. :)
