Announcement   I love to help other sewists by supplying designer fabric for all of their creations. I love to create things too so if you need something specific sewn or crocheted please let me know and I will try to help you.

I do custom orders, and mostly prefer to do them using patterns I currently have or from designers I have worked with before. If you have something in mind please send me a convo. I have many other options available with photos on my Facebook page with price estimates available. I prefer to work mostly with quilting cotton, although jersey or interlock knit is also an option.

All sewn and crochet items are handmade by my own hands, in my home in the USA. Clothing is prewashed in dye free/scent free Tide before it is sewn (however I do often use a scented spray for ironing. If you would like for me to not use it just let me know!) Fabric yardage is unwashed and cut directly from the bolt when you order.

My Little Lady and Gentleman specializes in charming, unique, handmade items for your littles. You can find an assortment of crochet hats, photo props, ruffle skirts, pants, beautiful dresses, and even fabric to make your own creations!

Don't see what you're looking for? Send me a conversation and I will try to help you the best that I can.

C A R E:
*Crochet items should be hand washed with mild detergent in cool water. Lay flat to air dry.
*Clothing items should be hand washed in cool water, hang or lay flat to air dry, warm iron if necessary. I love to use Mary Ellen's Best Press as a starch alternative to iron with. It makes the fabric look almost new again without making it stiff.

F A B R I C:
Fabric is sold in one yard increments unless otherwise stated. If you purchase multiple yards of one print you will receive it as one continuous cut. Cotton wovens (quilting cotton) are most often 44/45" wide. Knit is often 58-60" wide, but can vary based on manufacturer.
Metallic printed fabric should be ironed on the wrong side whenever possible. If you cannot iron on the wrong side, place a cloth over the metallic to help protect it from the heat of the iron. It can become damaged under high heat if not careful.

About

A life full of crochet, sewing, and playing with fabric everyday spreads joy all around

I began creating things at a young age when I learned how to crochet at about 8 years old. I would craft things, or crochet doilies for family members through the years and improved my skills throughout. After I had my second child I became a stay at home mom. I needed something to help me escape the normal "mom" duties while still being able to care for my children. I found some cute hat patterns and made some hats for my daughter and son. Once people started complimenting their hats I made more for family and friends. Eventually it led to the opening of my Etsy shop.

With the help of many sewing tutorials, great pdf patterns, and amazing people in Facebook groups, I learned how to sew garments. I absolutely love sewing for children! With a third child in our family my attention began to split even more so sewing wasn't always the easiest thing to get done. This led me to introducing fabric into my shop so that other sahm's and businesses could purchase designer fabric at a great price and help support my family at the same time.

I love nothing more than to help other people whether it's making a cute children's hat or shipping off beautiful fabric for other creations.

Thanks for stopping by! I make all of my clothing with love and care as if I were making it for my own children. I hope you enjoy what I have to offer. I pre-wash all fabric before using it to sew. I use a "free and clear" unscented detergent for those who may be sensitive to smells.

Many of my items are made with serged seams, and topstitched to finish. There a some items in my shop that I made before I had a serger, but their seams are finished with a professional stitch. The items that are not serged are usually a little lower in price than those which are serged. There is nothing wrong with the structure of the items and are still made of very good quality.

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy Gift Cards and Etsy Credits
Returns and exchanges
Many of the clothing items are made from a limited fabric. Some items may not be able to be replaced with an identical item. Refunds may be issued if the item was damaged in shipping. If you are in need of measurements of the item before you purchase please ask. I will not refund an item due to size.

Custom orders are non-refundable.
Payment
My Etsy shop accepts PayPal, credit/debit cards, as well as Etsy gift cards.
Shipping
Many of my custom made items will have shipping costs included in the price. If you need your item shipped priority please send me a message. Your price may increase slightly if there is a change in shipping.

Fabric is priced to ship priority mail.

Most items that are featured as ready to ship will be mailed out the next day that the post office is open. If there is an issue with my being able to get it shipped within a day or two I will inform you.

All international customers outside of the USA will be responsible for any additional shipping or customs fees that may occur upon receiving the package.
Additional policies and FAQs
I am able to make custom orders for a 10% increase in price. Some patterns are only available in specific sizes so please ask. Also, if you would like something made in the fabric that is pictured, there is a chance that it may not be available any longer. If it is not, I will let you know and we can decide what to do from there. By all means, if you have a question, please just ask!
