By far and away my most favorite for needle felting my dolls and wool sculptures - I can't get a better medium than MyLittleSheep ❤️

Always a perfect fiber for my projects and I love that I can get two natural colors, this dark color is perfect for my nature scenes :)

I love this yarn! It's beautifully hand dyed and spun, and the colors are exactly what I hoped they'd be. Fast service, too. I ordered the day after Mother's Day and got it Wednesday morning.

I ordered the smallest quantity for a needle-felting project, and I will still have plenty left for other projects. Very fast shipping and I love the little surprise gift that I got!

About

Where the wool begins with healthy and content sheep!

This story started with My Little Sheep. When I brought home my first Babydoll Southdowns in 2005, their charming personalities quickly wove their way into my heart. Before long, they led me on a wonderful fiber journey, full of delightful twists, turns, and still no end in sight. They patiently taught me how intertwined the lives of the sheep and the shepherdess are. As I give them thoughtful care in a natural (yet protective and nurturing) environment, they reciprocate with wonderful wool, adorable lambs, and long productive lives. It is a simple (and at the same time, complex) concept that continues to intrigue me.

When I learned to spin, I began managing the flock with a high emphasis on fleece quality. It has been exciting to see the improvements in their wool through the years!

As a knitter, I understand the time and effort put into a project. So the yarns I design are ones I love to work with myself...ever-changing colors to keep each stitch enjoyable; yarns that turn even plain stockinette into an expressive creation...a work of art. I often ask myself, "How would a beginner's scarf look if this yarn were used?" In today's world of mass-produced commercial garments, we want our hand made knits to be Quite Different, don't we? I hope you enjoy using the yarns as much as I've enjoyed making them.

If you are interested in learning more about my flock and their wonderful wool, you're welcome to visit www.MyLittleSheep.com where there are many pictures too!

The shepherdess to a sweet flock of Babydoll Southdown sheep. I enjoy spinning, dyeing, and knitting with their wool. My quest is to create unique yarns with ever-changing colors so even simple stitches appear complex, original, and beautiful.

Very adept at creating wool from grass. Also give inspiration and encouragement through their daily interactions with me.
