Before starting an online business, Denise spent ten years as a Computerized Office Specialist, Account Receivables, and Shipping Clerk for small manufacturing companies and online fulfillment centers in Southern CA.

After a successful decade helping a few small businesses sell online and work from home, Denise started multiple online shops thrifting pre-owned clothing on consignment which lead to innovating her own line of hair extensions; currently creating sample products that niche online buyers need and use to finish their personal projects and product lines.

PayPal is reinstating a controversial policy around its handling of fees in the event of a refund. Starting 2019, PayPal will begin pocketing the initial 2.9 percent commission fee sellers forfeit during a transaction even when the seller is refunding a customer in full.

I will NOT accept cancellations. I do not wish to pay for someone’s mistake. I do not wish to pay PayPal or the IRS for a sale I am not making. When you cancel; these companies keep their fees and the IRS still taxes me. So you see... why should I refund and still have to pay fees and taxes on something you no longer want.

If I have to cancel; then you will split the cost with me and I will only refund 50%. So if you read my policy ahead of time; you will understand.

I will charge a 50% cancellation fee for depleting my inventory and wasting my time and money.

Thank you for understanding. If you are not able to agree with this; PLEASE do not order. You are welcome to shop elsewhere. This is not a problem. No I am not being rude; I'm being real. Don't argue with me about my policy. If you do not like it; MOVE ON. I don't understand why customer order; then start arguing. Everything is clearly stated here.

All customized orders; especially on custom bathing and body suits are FINAL sale.

Otherwise I DO NOT cancel orders for any reason due to PayPal Fees and the IRS still taxing me on a sale I did not make. PayPal doesn’t give me my fee back that they charge me to take the payment and the IRS counts it as a sale and I still pay taxes on it. Especially in California. So you see... why should I pay for an item that you decide you no longer want? This waste my time, preparation that you can not see, materials, projects being worked on or started; including the fees I get during payment processing for your order.

🔻Sorry...I have to pass this on as I take time to write my own lengthy descriptions and people order; don't read what I take time to write; then cancel within 5-25 minutes stating they need the item tomorrow or next week or that they supposedly ordered by mistake or their kid ordered it like their kid pressed all the right buttons and confirmed the sale. That’s one amazing kid!
Plus people fail to understand that I am only 1 person and have a life outside of working (which I am a workaholic and I love working)... but still...

🔴 SO...If you MUST cancel an order; you will be charged a 50% cancellation fee AND the fees Etsy charged me for the sale or Paypal Fees. I am sorry but this fee must be passed along; if not; this means I am being charged for an order that I did not sell; although Etsy and PaYPal still take a fee from me for Refund Processing; It is not fair for me to pay fees on an order you decide to cancel. Your cancellation fee does not take care of the whole price because it’s only 50%; Not 100%.

🔴 I am not responsible for any mail not delivered to an address that YOU provide. I will charge a 50% return fee for my time PLUS the shipping money I can not get back.
🔴I usually SHIP within 10-14 BUSINESS DAYS to ensure customer products arrive as you expect. This allows time for processing, creation, and double checking of packaging and shipping.

⚪️Orders can take 3-5 business days JUST TO process and pack before I ship. I work alone and need time to get all customers taken care of. I am proud to boast an almost perfect rating because of the additional time spent to ensure the quality of your My Luxury 1st order.

When will my order ship?

Your order will usually ship within 10-14 business days.

❇️Nights, weekends, and holidays do not count.
❇️A tracking number will be issued once your mail is dropped off at the post office.

⚠️PLEASE DO NOT order anything in my shop, then message me and ask if I can have it to you by a certain date.

Can I cancel my order?

🛑 No.
⚠️ I no longer allow cancellations after 1 hour.

All orders cancelled within 1 hour will be charged a 15% cancellation fee PLUS the fee Etsy charged me if you used Etsy check out due to time, preparation, and fees charged in processing your order.

🛑If you do not agree to this; PLEASE do not order. It is stressful and unfair to me to have to pay fees on items I'm not selling and be pressured to ship an item when it clearly states when your item(s) will ship.

NON US orders and CUSTOMS

When an order ships from the US to out of the country; ⚠️I am not responsible if your item gets stuck in customs. It will be your responsibility to negotiate with them and speak with them on your behalf. 🛑 I am not able to refund an order I spent processing and shipping fees for if I do not have it back and if for some reason it comes back I do charge a 50% return fee AND shipping fees as it is not fair to me to loose either so we need to split the cost at least. This is just the risk of ordering out of country and I have no control over the mailing system as neither do you.
