Welcome to our little artisan shop of handcrafted, vintage inspired wedding stationery, décor and gifts.

We are a Mr & Mrs design company working from our pretty little studio in the hills of South Wales, UK. We pride ourselves in our passion for unique & truly beautifully made items with a strong belief that it's the little touches that make all the difference. We offer free personalisation on all of our custom wedding stationery, including your guests names! We will also even custom print your guests names and addresses on the front of all your envelopes free of charge, because we think they look prettier that way!

Everything that you find in our little shop is designed, stitched, printed, handcut and lovingly crafted by us. Whether you come across the perfect stationery collection & decorations for your big day in our shop, or you're looking for a completely custom designed range, we're always more than happy to help! We completely embrace custom orders, so if there's anything you'd like to know or would just like to talk over some ideas please get in touch, we'd love to hear from you!

We kindly request that you pay for your purchase via paypal. Even if you do not have a PayPal account you are still abel to place an order and make payment using this method. Your item(s) will then be posted to the address provided at Etsy/Paypal.


If we do not receive any contact or payment within 3 days of sale then we will assume that you no longer wish to purchase the item(s) and it will be re-listed.

If you do require a longer period of time to complete your payment, then please feel free to drop us a mail and we'll be happy to come to an arrangement!
All of our items are posted lovingly wrapped ready for you to enjoy, or for you to gift to another.

All out items are insured and dispatched via first class Royal Mail recorded delivery where possible from the UK. The delivery time will then vary due to your location. As all items are lovingly handmade please refer to the item(s) listing for the despatch turnaround time.

If you do need your item very quickly then please email us right away and we will do our very best to get the item to you as soon as possible.

On custom listings we will quote you with the shipping costs for the quantity of items you require.
Refunds and Exchanges
We want you to be 100% ecstatic about your purchase from our little shop, so if you're not completely happy for any reason please email us within 10 working days and we'll do our very best to rectify the problem! If there is an error made on our part we will replace the item(s) free of charge.

Custom Orders

If you wish not to continue with your custom order for any reason, you must cancel your order before the design process begins (within 24 hours) for a full refund.

If you wish to cancel your order once the design process has began, (24 hours after placing your order) we will need to cover the design costs already incurred and will only be able to refund you 50% of the listing price.

Once the final design proof has been sent to you we will be unable to issue a refund and accept any cancellations. (Please refer to our TERMS AND CONDITIONS below)

Please read our detailed item descriptions carefully before placing your order, if there is anything you are unsure about please email us with your query prior to checkout.


Please email me directly at rebecca [!at] or send me an Etsy conversation so we can discuss exactly what you are looking for!

• If you love a collection just the way it is please purchase a sample so you can be 100% sure you're happy with the item before you place your custom order with us. Samples will not be customised.

• If you love the sample you receive please email us with the quantities you need and we'll send you a quote for all the pretty items you require.

• When you're happy with the quote we will set up a reserved listing just for you!

• Once your payment has been received we will request the specific wording you require for the item(s) through an Etsy conversation or via email in RTF or Word format.

• We will then design a digital proof of your item(s) with all your requested customisations and email it to you in a PDF format for your approval (Please refer to our APPROVING YOUR PROOF section below for more information). For invitations we will then request a document containing all your guests names and address (Please refer to our CUSTOM GUEST NAME PRINTING section below). By approving a proof you are also agreeing to out shop policies and terms and conditions listed below.

• When you are completely happy with the final design proof will begin handcrafting your beautiful bespoke item(s) within the timescales discussed, and lovingly wrap, package and post them to you ready for you and your very lucky guests to enjoy!


Please email or convo us through etsy the information you wish to be formatted and printed. Addresses need to be sent to us correctly. We prettily format all the details you send us and apply them to your stationery, therefore are unable to verify, correct, or change addresses in any way. (Please refer to our TERMS AND CONDITIONS)

Please forward us your guests details as you would like them to appear on the invitation and on the on envelope in the below format to avoid any confusion.

Please take your time to look over, read over and triple check the PDF proof we send you so you can be sure that all of the information is 100% correct. We recommend that if possible you can also ask your Mr or Mrs to be, family member or a friend to double check the document too, as they may pick up on a the smallest of details or spelling mistake that you may have missed, we're only human after all!

Unfortunately after the proof has been approved we would have began creating your custom order and will be unable to make any changes and will not be responsible for any errors after the final proof has been approved, so it's incredibly important that all the details are perfect when the final proof is accepted. (Please refere to our TERMS & CONDITIONS)


Please note that the colours shown on screen may vary to the actual item depending of how your monitor is calaborated. The best way to be sure of a colour match is to purchase a sample of the collection you are interested in. We will also be more than happy to match requested colours as close as possible on custom orders where possible.


We always recommend to order enough items to be sure you are covered in the case of any last minute changes in guest quantities. We love to completely customise invitations to the guest invited but it may be beneficial to order a few extra with the quest's name and address left blank in the case of any additions to the list! We only order in the correct materials required for the order placed so delays may be possible in the turnaround time for any extra items you may need after your order is placed and may result in a rush order charge increase of 25%.


Reserved listings are created especially for you with all of your orders custom requirements in mind and will be available for three days only for you to purchase, as the listing will be public and available for others to also purchase. If the listing is removed after the three days have passed please contact me when you are ready to place your order and we will re-list your item(s).


Please read our detailed item description carefully before placing your order. If you require an order faster than the turnaround times detailed in the item description please email us via Etsy conversation, or directly at rebecca [!at] prior to checkout to check our availability. Rush orders placed without confirmation of turnaround my not be accommodated or liable to a 25% rush order cost increase.


We will be available to answer any of your quires via Etsy, email or the old fashioned telephone Monday - Thursday 9:00 - 5:00 and Friday 9:00 - 4.00. We're closed on bank holidays. If you would prefer to have a chat over the phone please feel free to tinkle us on +44 (0) 1443 403004.

We always aim to reply to any email or voice mail within 24 hours, so If you haven't received a reply from us within 2 working days pretty please check your Etsy's conversations and email's junk/spam folder.


Although we love to use fabric in our designs please don't put them in the washing machine, they won't like it. Printed paper goods are not water resistant. To ensure the longevity of your item(s) please avoid prolonged direct sunlight where possible as it will cause the inks/fabric to fade over time.


Pre-owned items may have slight imperfections and signs of wear that are normal for any well loved vintage item due to to it's age. We always do our very best to indicate any major flaws or blemishes, but will not always mention small flaws, such as pinpoint sized spots or holes. If you are concerned about a particular item's condition, then please feel free to mail us any questions you may have prior to you purchasing the item.


Each item is carefully measured. If you do have any questions about the measurements then please feel free to contact us.


By placing an order with Old Black Hen Ltd. and you agree to provide us with the specific copy, images and information we require in order to create your item, or to advise us as to where we can locate such materials. We accept no responsibility for your product not being completed on time if we are unable to secure necessary and/or suitable information and/or materials from you.

If you are unable to supply the information you require in your item, we will do what we can to obtain it, but we accept no responsibility for errors, omissions or discrepancies which may be present on the final product, as these may arise through our lack of specialist knowledge relating to the content.

Where you supply or specify materials, we will take every care to secure the best results in the finished product, but we accept no responsibility for imperfect work caused by defects in or unsuitability of materials so supplied or specified. If we have provided you with a proof, sign-off will always be requested verbally, by email or if
necessary in writing. This contract confirms that you agree to the design and contents of the product as depicted on the proof. By signing off this proof, you absolve Old Black Hen Ltd of all liability for any errors, omissions or discrepancies which may be present on the proof. Once you have signed off the proof supplied, in most cases we will not be able to make any further changes to the final product, nor are you able to hold Old Black Hen Ltd responsible for anything you are unhappy with.

This contract revokes your right to take any kind of action against Old Black Hen Ltd for any aspect of the work with which you are later dissatisfied. Signing off a proof means that, as long as the finished product is consistent with the proof supplied, you must pay in full for the work. This fact applies whether or not you later take issue with any aspect of the product. These terms are final and non-negotiable. A proof also acts as your final opportunity to make
changes to the content.

[ Making Changes ]

If a change is requested, we will do everything we can to make the correction, but we cannot guarantee this after the proof stage. We accept no responsibility, under any circumstances, or any mistakes present on the completed work, as the signing-off of a proof absolves us of all liability (see Proofs above). Once the proof is signed off or agreed, whether verbally or via email, we incur a film / plate(s) charge and this is passed on to you as part of the total charge (see Price Breakdown). Any changes made after a proof is signed off will result in a further materials charge..

Old Black Hen Ltd takes no responsibility for the content of emails including attachments and viruses.

[ Copyright ]

Unless negotiated and agreed in writing, the copyrights of general artwork, commissioned artwork & stationery, illustrations, design and copy belong to Old Black Hen Ltd. If you supply us with material, it is your responsibility to obtain all necessary copyrights for its use, and we assume that you possess these. In such cases, the copyright belongs to you.
By signing this agreement, you agree to indemnify Old Black Hen Ltd from any claim which arises regarding the use of material with which you supply us. We reserve the right to use any artwork or printing we produce for the purposes of promoting our services unless you request otherwise in writing.

[ Quotes ]

All quotes for items are valid for thirty (30) days, after which time all proposed work will have to be re-quoted. We take no responsibility for a re-quoted price differing from an original quote.

[ Illegal Matter ]

Old Black Hen Ltd reserves the right not to craft & print any matter deemed illegal, libellous or offensive, or which may be an infringement of the proprietary or other rights of any third party. This agreement indemnifies us in respect of any claims, costs and expenses arising out of any libellous matter or any infringement of copyright, patent, design or of any other proprietary or personal rights contained in any material printed for the customer. The indemnity shall extend to any amounts paid on a lawyers advice in settlement of any claim.

[ Consequential Loss ]

Old Black Hen Ltd accept no liability whatsoever for consequential or third party losses, resulting in a delay in delivery however caused.

[ Liability ]

Old Black Hen Ltd shall not be liable for any loss to the customer arising from delay in transit caused by circumstances beyond our control.

[ Data Protection ]

Old Black Hen Ltd agrees to keep all information of its clients confidential. All information will be treated as confidential in accordance with the Data Protection Act.

[ Force Majeure ]

Old Black Hen Ltd shall have no liability to the Customer under the Contract if it is prevented from or delayed in performing its obligations under the Contract or from carrying on its business by acts, events, omissions or accidents beyond its reasonable control, including strikes, lock-outs or other industrial disputes, failure of a utility service or transport network, act of God, war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage, compliance with any law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, accident, breakdown of plant or machinery, fire, flood, storm or default of suppliers or sub-contractors.
