Frequently asked questions
What if my item is damaged during delivery?
In the unlikely event your order is damaged during delivery, please contact me within 7 days of delivery for resolution.
This may include replacement of order or refund; provided Buyer provides proper evidence to file a claim.
DO NOT ship the item back unless I request you to do so, as this will void the claim.
I will need the following to process a claim:
Proof of Damage:
Clear, digital photos that clearly show the extent of damage. This includes BOTH SHIPPING PACKAGE AND ITEM damage.
Please hang on to the original packaging and the damaged item until your claim is settled. You may be asked to take them to your local Post Office™ for inspection later.
What if my package is lost in transit?
Each package we send will have tracking information available through the appropriate carrier.
We diligently track each package until its arrival at the destination address you provided. We will file Help and Missing Mail forms on your behalf at the appropriate intervals.
If after 30 business days from ship date the package has not been delivered, please contact us for resolution; which may include refund or replacement of your order.
What if I received the wrong item?
While we make every attempt to carefully check each order, we sincerely apologize if the item you received is not the correct item on your order receipt.
We ask that you contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will arrange for a prepaid return label for you to return the item. Please keep the original shipping box and inner packing materials so we have the correct size/weight for a new label.
Upon receipt of the incorrect order, we will immediately send the correct order at our expense.
You may request a full refund, including shipping costs, in lieu of replacement item if you would prefer.
What if my tracking information shows delivered, but I do not have the package?
First and foremost, it is the Buyer's responsibility to provide a secure location for package delivery. We provide every buyer with tracking information.
Seller (MyOldWhiskeyWorkshop LLC) is not responsible for missing/stolen packages if USPS, UPS or FedEx tracking shows delivery to address provided by Buyer.
If tracking information shows delivered, we ask you to please first check with household members and neighbors in the event they may have picked up the package on your behalf. If you believe the package has been stolen, you should file a report with local police, file a fraud/stolen report with the carrier and with your personal insurance company.
Please contact us for any assistance we can provide with tracking information.
Do you offer engraving on your products?
Our lumber is hand selected to emphasize a beautiful wood grain unique to each piece. To protect the heirloom quality and remain timeless, we do not offer engraving on our products.

If there is a problem, we respectfully ask that you please contact us directly through Etsy Convos to resolve before opening a case.

May I return my item if I change my mind?
While we confident you will love your purchase, we will accept returns. However, a refund will be for the item price only. Buyer must pay both outbound and return shipping charges. Please keep in mind that the shipping cost for large, heavy items for both directions can easily run $40-$50! Please read through our detailed descriptions and don't hesitate to ask any questions prior to purchase.
