Recently purchased this item. Arrived well packaged and timely. Love how it looks on my wall. The picture doesn't do it justice. Looking at other items from this seller.

Experience the Essence

Early on an October morning in 1962, across the street from Disney Studios, St Joseph Medical Center in Burbank CA hosted the birth of me, Amy Monday. A Monday born on a Monday - the world was getting a perfectionist compelled to express her sensitivities.

An innate sense of life's tempo stirred my creativity and as soon as I was able to hold a pencil, I was driven to draw (anything, even if it was just doodling), my hand constantly moving as if to expel intensified energy. Resources were scarce and there was no opportunity for formal training, but the warrior uses the tool at hand.

I have lived in several states from the west coast to the east, Colombia SA, and have visited Mexico, Canada, Germany, and Austria. Through all of this, my passion for nature and its mysticism grew. I am drawn (no pun intended) to the seductive curves and entanglements of tree branches, leaves, vines, and winding waters, and to the balance and healing of the color green. I continue to express my fascination with the movement and flow, the synchrony or harmony if you will, of the universe. Mostly working in oil and watercolor, no medium is off limits.

Lured by the prospect of year-round greenery, I now call southwest Florida home. I work from my in-home studio in wooded North Port, combining my spirituality and creativity into unique expressions.

Welcome to ScribblesNStrokes where I'm always evolving. Right now I'm striving to express the essence of a subject rather that its reality. After all, you could just take a photograph, right? ;) I hope to show you the beauty of lines and colors of the natural beauty that surrounds us. Enjoy!
