Handcrafted Holiday and Seasonal Decor
I have been sewing since I was a young girl and have made a wide variety of items, including doll clothes, my clothes, coats, suits, curtains, clothes for my daughters, and wedding dresses to name a few. After the local fabric stores closed, I turned to crafting.
For over 15 years I have done two to three crafts shows a year- mostly fall and winter shows. Many of my customers asked about items for other seasons. I didn't have much luck finding spring or summer craft shows, so I turned to online sales. In April of 2011, I opened My Stitches To Treasure on Etsy.
I continue to expand the inventory in my shop to include items for all the holidays and seasons. I love looking through the pattern shops for new patterns and ideas, and I am a hopeless fabric addict. It seems I always have more ideas and patterns than I have time to get them done!
I do soft sculpture crafting (with a little wood thrown in for some items). I have a variety of tools to make my creations- a table saw, scroll saw, jigsaw, drill, and of course- my sewing machines, scissors, and glue gun.
I personally make all of the items in my smoke-free, pet-free home studio. I make quality items you can be proud to display in your home or to give as a gift to someone special. I do take special requests to make unique treasures for my customers!
