About

My Story

I started making terrariums in 2015. I use upcycled glass to house succulent open terrariums and moss closed terrariums. My terrarium making inspired my venture into moss art and macrame. I am always looking for a new way to challenge my creativity and moss art and macrame seem to be the prefect vehicle to do this.

I use preserved moss so there is absolute no maintenance. My canvases are either upcycled wooden bowls or wooden frames. I integrate figurines, photos, agate slices, and goedes in creating these mossterpieces. Each piece is unique and is designed to bring nature inside your home.

I was naturally drawn to macrame and the bohemian style. I began making macrame plant hangers for my terrariums and kokedamas. From there, I become making macrame wall decor including mixing macrame and moss together in one piece.

Right before I started my business, my father passed away. My father was a jazz musician and always stressed to me the importance of being happy. His death made me really question am I happy. The answer, I was not happy in my full time job and often found myself daydreaming of what I could be creating, drawing, or painting. My father's desire to make sure I was happy has fueled my fire to start my own business.
