The inspiration for Myrrh and Merlot came to me as I discovered sensitivities to certain ingredients found in many self-care products. Centered mostly around my love of lip balm, I found myself constantly checking labels and sifting through far too many ingredients only to discover that it was rare that I found a lip balm or product that was compatible with my quality of health. I decided to start making my own lip balms to combat this problem. I was sharing my creations with family and friends who all encouraged me to try selling my products because they couldn’t get enough of them.

Myrrh and Merlot’s main focus is creating products with organic ingredients that come from quality sources that treat the body well and work how they are supposed to. We do this by using organic ingredients from quality sources. We also aim to use as few ingredients as possible to get the job done. We use a small number of ingredients in hopes of keeping our products straightforward and simple and catering to those who may have ingredient sensitivities. Taking care of yourself shouldn’t be hard and at Myrrh and Merlot, we want to create products that make it that much easier for you to live well and stay healthy.
