Announcement   I have always loved to draw and to make things. Ever since I would color outside the lines with my Uncle, or lay under a tree and see it from a different angle, I have been supported in my love and life in art. My grandfather taught me about tools. My grandmother walked on the beach collecting stones with me, and my Mom continually made sure I had the stuff at hand to create. And now I share my life with fellow artist Steve, who continues to amaze with his mobiles and sculptures. I am so grateful for their support to live the dream of being a working artist.

I fell in love with jewelry when I was three, pulling myself up to look in the cases in Stubie's Jewelry in my hometown. I could not get enough of all that sparkle. And as the universe would have it, 25 years later the owner of that store, Harvey Stubenvoll (Stubie), became my mentor and teacher. And his saying, "can't was killed in the battle of try", is still my mantra when working on a new idea in the studio.

While I have always loved to draw and create, my true self came through after my training with Stubie at the age of 28. I knew then that jewelry was my truest medium. The feel of the gems, the stones and the metal, have a way of mesmerizing me. The idea of small sculpture to wear, is one of the things I love most about hand crafting jewelry. Pieces of jewelry can represent a memory, hold a dream for the future, a symbol, a message for the wearer or for the world to share. The human race has adorned itself for millennium, and the pieces speak to who we are and what we love. I weave joy, good intentions, and prayer into the work I make, and I love to send them out into the world.

I also love to chat about my jewelry creations, so please feel free to get in touch with me. I offer layaway on some pieces, please send me a message to find out more, or if you have any questions.

This bracelet is even more gorgeous than pictured. If I could give it more stars I would. I love the bezel setting. Really great communication with the artist. Such a nice lady. Fast shipping. Lovely experience all around. Thanks so much!
