Announcement   Welcome and thank you for taking an interest in my dolls. I hope you will find something that sparks your curiosity. Here you will find my collection of doll-goddesses; characters of Ancient Mythologies from around the world; Greece, Scandinavia, Egypt, India, Africa, China, Japan and other cultures (more of them are still in the making…) Each doll is equipped with decorative items, emphasizing the character she represents. My dolls are 100% handmade and carefully crafted without using any glue or paints; soft-sculptured with hand embodied faces. However, a nontoxic glue is used to decorate the stand. Few of the dolls wear custom-made headgear that also contains non-toxic glue and acrylic paints. The hair is made of various yarns and the body is usually done with cotton or linen, filled with poly fiber. The undergarment is a crochet body-suit. Their wardrobe is part crochet and part made of color printed fabric, decorated with beads. They wear headgear and crochet shoes consisted with the fashion of ancient era. I am proud to announce that my doll photos and the article were recently published in "Soft Dolls & Animals" Magazine (Issue Nov.2013).

My creations open the mind’s eye into the mysteries of life. Each “Goddess” is unique and comes with an index card featuring information about her role and origin based on Ancient beliefs and the emblem that represents her. I carefully researched and learn about each goddess before “bringing her to life.” Each doll carries individual inspiration, advice and motivation. My dolls are of rather decorative nature and make a great gift for someone you love. Although they are not really meant for small children, they are made very sturdily (there are no items that would easily come off) and everything is sewn with strong threads 2 or 3 times over. My dolls serve well as “Good Luck Charm” for home and personal endeavors. They come with the laminated story leaflet, wooden stands and clear vinyl covers and they are wrapped in toxic-free craft paper, (none smoking home.) I also make children toys, fabric and crocheted dolls and pocketbooks.

Devine Blessings…

May the light of inspiration always shine on your path to success. If not for your creative skills and scope of imagination, this particular item would only exist in the archives of historical documents. I whole heartily would like to thank you for this wonderful product and in parting share with you a memory that will indelibly remain in my mind despite the ravishment of time. The expression of joy on the face of a loved one receiving this gift. Thank you once again.

About

Creation and Imagination

Going away June 27 to July 25. There will be no delivery for 4 weeks starting June 27.

I am a grandmother of 7. I love to make dolls for little girls. Dolls that would serve as companion for playing, sleeping and provide comfort for their little hearts. For adults I love to make unusable dolls with a deeper meaning, also for companion, but with more symbolic meaning. Dolls that would represent a special achievements or help in reaching desire goal. My goddesses and heroines may just do the trick. Recently photos of my goddesses were published in “Soft Dolls and Animals” Magazine.

I live and work in New York City for 30 years but I am originally from Poland. I was always fascinated by handmade art. When I was younger I made sweaters for my children, decorative pillows, blankets etc… However being always a working mother (I hold a steady city job for over 25 years,) I never had enough time for large art projects. Now my three children are grown and married and I have three wonderful grandchildren, who give me an unspeakable joy. Actually because of them I again started to make princesses for the granddaughters and super-hero characters for my grandson. I still love to make dolls strictly for little girls; simply for playing, sleeping and comforting. Now, that all my grandchildren’s shelves are full of handmade items, I decided to do something for myself. I was always interested in history and mythology; I followed the lives of famous women in history like heroins and queens, and also fantasy figures like enchanted princesses and goddesses. In elementary school, my friends and I started a little theater featuring all these female heroines and act out their stories. Now, I have a collection of various interesting dolls; characters of ancient mythologies from around the world (goddesses.) I carefully researched and learn about each goddess before “bringing her to life.” All my dolls are purely hand crafted without using any paints or glue. They are very firmly stuffed and strongly sewn together and detail oriented. They have all needle-sculpted, hand-embroidered faces and yarn hair sewed onto the scalp. For outfits I combine crocheting with fabric and beads, which makes my dolls unique and interesting. I work alone, even though I wouldn’t mind some help in the future. As long as I still have imagination, I hope I will be creative for a long time to come.
