Very good customer service. My dress fits perfectly and is very cute. The fabric is a little different than what I expected but it suits the design and style. Mailed fast and secure. Thank you!

I ordered one in black and one in sage, both are beautiful and very comfy. No offensive smells from being colored, and are perfect to help me grow out my bangs. Thank you for these lovely headbands.

First step when envisioning a new print is to create the art, here's the drawing I did for the little deer print. You can find it on our newest item, an organic cotton and hemp baby hat. I'll be adding it to other items just in time for the holidays heart

About

Mystery School Clothing, handmade with love and care.

I have been designing, sewing and selling clothing since 1995. I create every item from organic and sustainable fabrics and dye them with low impact dyes. All of my prints are hand screened by me with water based inks. I consider the footprint of every choice I make for my business very carefully. Recycled paper is used for tags and business cards, and shipping.
Using sustainable and organic fibers is very important to me, I've been using them for over 10 years. Each choice we make as consumers ripples out and makes change. When you support organic, it's not only good for you, but it's great for our environment. Pesticides pollute our ground water and have been linked to many health problems for people living near farms and working there. We also know that pesticides have been linked to bee and butterfly deaths, the pollinators of our food crops.

Mystery School's designs have featured sacred geometry graphics for over 10 years. The use of sacred geometry in ancient cultures is so interesting to me, it is a true sign of forgotten knowledge. Our whole world is ruled by math and geometry, music is math, the way our cells divide is geometric, we use geometry to understand the world around us. Human brains actually recognize geometric patterns on a level that we cannot consciously understand, it is hard wired into us.

Most items are custom made just for you. Each style is made with quality and love to last. You can feel the difference between mass produced items and handmade when you wear my clothing. I have sold thousands of items to happy customers throughout the years.

I know the importance of supporting our own economy. By using our dollars to 'vote' we can all make a difference. Supporting handmade and especially eco-friendly businesses, we leave a lighter footprint on our environment and a better future for our children.

Payment
I accept pay pal, direct checkout (etsy), money orders and checks (please note that check or money order must clear before order is sent), I also consider trades (wouldn't it be great if we could trade for everything we need?). Custom orders may take up to two weeks for production, then the item will be shipped, a lot of times it doesn't take two weeks and you could possibly have your item before then.

A custom order cannot be canceled after payment has been received, changes to the garment order may only be considered before the actual order is started.
Shipping
I usually ship first class or parcel post, if you would like to choose faster shipping, you can upgrade (with added costs) just let me know and I make it happen for you. I do add insurance to most packages, please message me if you are concerned about your package being insured.

I love to ship internationally, it is difficult to have the proper shipping posted, so I have a generalized shipping rate for international packages, I will refund any overages over $1.00, and am also more than happy to calculate the exact shipping rate for you. Please just send me a message with your address and I will figure it out before you pay for an item.

**Please know the customs procedures for your country before purchasing, I cannot be responsible for import fees or holds. **

Please let me know if you have any special instructions for shipping. I often ship through etsy, but sometimes use paypal, so please make sure the address is correct in both is applicable.
Refunds and Exchanges
I will accept returns of items in same condition as received within a week of delivery to you. Store credit will be given on any returns. Your replacement order can take up to two weeks to be produced. Please take into consideration that when I make you a custom shirt I spend my time and materials, so when I get returns the item cannot be sold until someone else wants the exact size and color that you have chosen. This is especially true when ordering completely custom garments, ex: garments that I do not already offer in my shop, adding or changing sleeve length, prints etc... if it returned it is almost impossible for me to sell, so lets be sure we get it perfect the first time.

Please remember that I offer handmade items and they are very different than mass produced factory made items. Colors tend to vary because of the hand dying. I cannot accept returns because of color differences. Colors in the color chart are the representative color, but computer screens vary, the color of item pictured does not necessarily represent the color of item. If you need a specific color please convo me to make sure it will be as close as possible to what you desire.

There also may be an occasional anomaly, but it adds to the character of my items and that is the nature of handmade and hand dyed items. I make each item so that you will get a lot of use from them, even if they are your favorites and you like to wear an item multiple times a week!

*** It is the customers responsibility to pay for shipping when returning items.***

Thank you for thinking organic and handmade! You are making a difference with your buying power! Have a beautiful day!!
