Note from shop owner Due to circumstance out of my control, I am forced to close my shop for the time being. I hope to reopen as soon as possible, so please keep checking back.

I am unfortunately unable to make anything new or take any new orders right now. I do plan on vending at Saqra's Belly Dance Showcase and JamBallah this summer. I'm also available to respond to questions and messages you may have, so shoot me a line if you'd like. :)

Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for being a fan of my work!

Arrived super quick! I love the colors and the seller was the sweetest person I could ever buy from. She was easy to work with and works fast. Will definitely be buying from them in the neat future!

I have always enjoyed crafts. Beadwork, painting, drawing, sewing, crocheting, knitting, scrapbooking, you name it, I've probably tried it. For the most part I just dabbled a little bit here a little bit there, building up a great supply of crafting materials. However, I never spent much time on any given area because I mean, how many scarves can you make for yourself, right? That is until I started belly dancing.

I just started dance class as a way to make friends and keep fit at the same time, but as I became better, I joined a troupe in which we had to start making matching costumes. (Insert ominous music here.) I'd sewed plenty of halloween costumes and a couple of special occasion items, but nothing that had to be functional or had to last longer than one evening! But after making my first costume I was hooked. I love the processes of starting with a few yards of fabric, some beads, a bra and turning it into something spectacular. I thought to myself (and my husband), 'I'd love to make costumes as a career," but just knew it would very difficult to build a customer base, so I moved on...until I found Etsy. Seeing how much of a demand for homemade items there is on Etsy has given me the courage to set forth and make my dream a reality.

Since that day, I've spent a great many, many hours building up my sewing skills while creating some gorgeous dance costumes that can stand up to the beatings I put them through (lugging them around in a bag, quickly changing in and out of them and the many hours of dancing in them). Always trying to better myself, and the quality of my work, I am continuing to take sewing classes. And now, I am finally ready to bring to you my creations.

As for what I shall be bringing to you? I have an eclectic taste in clothes and accessories. I love burlesque, goth and victorian styles. I take inspiration from pirates, flappers and tribal belly dancers. I adore sparkles, feathers and lace. And I'm partial to black, jewel tones and occasionally pink. These are the things that I love and the things that I make. I will never make or post anything on here that I would not love to keep for myself. (In fact, anything that I make more that one of, you can bet that I've made one for myself!) To that affect, I promise that everything I make will be of the highest quality, with attention to detail and made with love...as the day I stop loving it is the day that I stop doing it!

Here's hoping to see you around often,
Mystic

By default I am shipping all of my items through the United States Postal Service (USPS). I don't mind using other carriers, but if you would like it sent though a different service please send me a message before purchasing to get a quote.

I try to mail all pre-made items by the end of the next business day after purchasing, though occasionally it may take me longer but I will let you know ASAP if there is a reason I can not get it out right away. For custom orders it can take up to 7 days to make the item. Though, like pre-made items, I will ship it out the next business day after completion (for prepaid items) or the next business day after purchasing.

I use previously used packing materials (bubble wrap, packing peanuts, boxes, etc.) if they are in like new condition. If you would prefer that I use all new packing materials please requests so in the message section upon checkout.

Sorry, no returns unless the item is damaged or malfunctioning and only upon approval. Send me an Etsy convo letting me know your order information and what the problem is. I cannot refund shipping costs.

Custom Orders

I am more than willing to do custom orders! (In fact that's my bread and butter.) To get the ball rolling send me an Etsy convo with the details of what you would like done (colors, sizes, date needed, and an other pertinent information). I will get back to you ASAP (usually the next business day) with a message either requesting more information or containing a quote. If it is over $100, I request a downpayment before I start work on the custom item(s).
I will usually have the items completed within 7 days. However if it is a large order or I am really booked up, it may take longer which I would notify you of before starting work. Once the item is completed I will make a listing reserved for you and send you a message to let you know that it is done. I request that you complete the order within a week of listing.
