BLUEBIRD FLOUR SACK items are NOT color fast. Flour sack isn't as stable as normal fabric and will fade with repeated washings. USE NO BLEACH EVER!


When ordering a BABY CAP I need to know if its for a NEWBORN OR OLDER BABY.
If it's for an older baby I'll need the head circumference measurement around the head where the bottom of the cap would be.

Bill depth---There are 4 types of bills.
SHORT--- #1 is aprox .9" long where it is sewn onto the crown with a 2" depth.
MEDIUM--- #2 is aprox. 7 " where it is sewn onto the crown with a 2 1/2" depth.
LONG------#3 is aprox. 5 1/2" where it is sewn onto the crown with a 3" to 4" depth.
BALL CAP TYPE #4 is aprox 8" wide sewn onto crown and 2-1/2' to 3" deep.
If I don't get specific instructions from you I will make a medium crown of 14" with the medium bill.

Head size-- the measurement should go around the brim. It will run from 20" to 25" . Don't pull the measuring tape tight or your cap will be tight.

CROWN DEPTH is soooo important!!! Some like them shallow to sit above ears while others like them long to cover ears. I want to make yours exactly how you like it. You can measure a favorite cap from brim to brim going over the top of the cap, then I can make your new one just like it. That measurement will run from 11" to 16".
