Every piece of paper is a love note.

I believe it's the small joys that matter most in life. For me, paper has always been a small joy. Notes from loved ones, doodles on lists, invitations in the mail, prints on the wall– they just make me happy. I believe that paper invitations beat Facebook invitations, and thank you notes are infinitely more meaningful than thank you texts. Every piece of paper is a love note, in its own little way. An invitation to a party, a meaningful quote in print, a wedding invitation, are all ways to brighten someone's day– to make them feel wanted, included, loved. So the design matters, and the quality matters.

Paper matters.

Very simply, I love the small joy of paper so much that it has become my big joy. I love to design custom products that mean something special for my clients so they can spread those small joys all over the place.

Frequently asked questions

Proofing Policy

Please review your proof thoroughly for errors or preferred edits in spelling, grammar, punctuation, overall graphic design/layout, and overall content. Custom design orders are limited to three proofs. Should additional proofs be required for an order beyond the first three, a $10 fee will be charged for each additional proof. Upon final approval, you agree that the proof is acceptable to your standards and will be printed or sent as it is. Once final approval is given, you are accepting sole responsibility for any errors or preferred edits you may find in the future and for the cost of the correction of such changes.

Printing Policy

You are not obligated to print with Nicole Campbell Creative, however, should you choose to do so, know that once approval to print is given, that approval triggers the printing process and no more changes may be made. Should you require changes after approval was given, you will need to re-purchase the printing at list price.

*NCC's print services are only available for designs created by Nicole Campbell Creative. No exceptions.*

Printable Designs Policy

Once a digital/printable order has been approved and delivered to the customers email, no more editing/customization by Nicole Campbell Creative will occur. Should the customer decide that they would like additional customization to their order, they will have to repurchase the item at the purchase price. Once the final, digital files have crossed into your possession, you own and are responsible for the files. Should you lose the file, NCC is not responsible for providing a replacement file, as one may not be available. Furthermore, ownership of the file does not constitute ownership of the design itself.

Designs are owned by and the copyright of Nicole Campbell Creative.

What is a round of edits? Do I only get two edits?

A round of edits means you compile all the edits you want and give them to me to make at one time. That's a round. This helps me keep design costs down by not opening the file and sending proofs every time we change one thing. Two rounds means you can make all the changes you want, twice.

Can the text be a different color/shifted/decreased/etc.?

Yes. The great part about working directly with a designer is that I do take the time to personalize your piece. I use my best judgement to make sure the design complements your photo, and then I'll still adjust what you feel necessary.

Can I have a proof prior to purchase?

No. Due to the customized nature of my work, a purchase must be made before a proof is sent. I take time with my designs, and I want to make sure they're perfectly customized before I send them. Because of this, I have to prioritize paid clients. Thank you for understanding.

What if I buy a design and decide I like a different one?

Within reason, I am happy to swap designs for you at no charge. This can be done in your edit rounds. I want to make sure you love the final product.

Can I add another photo (or two) to the design?

Yes, usually. Depending on the design, I can usually add a photo or two. I will let you know if the design you like doesn't accommodate extra photos. Generally, three or less is best in order to keep it from looking crowded.

Can I show you something I like from another designer?

You can show me, but for copyright (and morality) reasons, please don't expect me to copy it. I can work with "the feel" of the design and give you something with a similar feel, but your final product won't look anything like what you sent. If you really like someone else's design so much that you want to copy it, you should purchase it from that designer.
