Welcome

You have found the ONLY bent panel mica shade artist on the Planet. (Yes, it's true).
I hand craft my shades and sign each one.
Occasionally I will offer shade and base sets.
And I will occasionally convert an interesting vase to a lamp base and top it with one of my shades.
Look through my shop to see the various shapes and sizes.
If you need a custom size, "convo" me and I'll see what I can do....

I recently invented Uniquely Shaped Bent Mica Shades
to bring Antique Lamp Bases everywhere out of storage.
This has Never Been Done with Mica Before.
These are very special collectible shades as I am
The Only Bent Panel Mica Shade Artist on the Entire PLANET ! Yes, it's true :o)
I encourage buyers to print out a copy of the purchase letter(s)to keep with the piece for historic reference.
I benchmake and Sign Each Shade By Hand in my NYM Arts Studio here in New York.
I use the Finest Grade Mica Sheet surrounded in Beautiful Heavy Lead Bead over Copper Foil.
Top & Bottom Edges are Reinforced with 1/8" Round Solid Brass Stock where applicable.
I will also create mica inserts for Your Antique Iron or Bronze Fixtures.

USPS only.
If the Canada shipping option doesn't show up in the listing, let me know and I'll add it for you.

Refunds and Exchanges

For UNdamaged Shades :
You have 10 business days (to my door) to return your shade.
I will refund your full purchase price, EXCLUDING return shipping cost, ONLY if the shade
is in New Mint Condition (NO Damage of Any Kind)
You will receive your refund after I have received and inspected the shade.

For Damaged shades :
Contact me immediately.
Send 3 photos of the damage from 3 different angles,
and I'll take it from there.
At the conclusion, you will be another Satisfied customer :o)

Leslie, Leigh and Ron Keno (Antiques Road Show) are also fans of NYM Arts Mica Shades.
