Perfect! I was a little worried about which size I should get because I didn't want them to be big, but they're perfectly tiny!! I love these!

About

Jewelry with a bit of magic and a lot of story

Hello! I am Nana, I am Danish and I am a story addict. I love stories. I was brought up on fairy tales, storyteller and old magical Disney films.
I continued to devour Tolkien, Neil Gaiman, Robin Hobb and loads of other brilliant story weavers. Stories have power, especially fairy tales and fantasy filled with mythical creatures, powerful symbols and heroic battles.
They can help you learn about your own life and give you courage against adversity. They can also give you relief from the sometimes harsh reality and inspire you with hope for the future, which is something that we all can use every now and then.

I desperately wanted to join in with my own voice to these fabulous bards and storytellers. So since I was a kid I have been sketching and writing stories inspired in fantasy and I my first career was as a game designer – creating interactive stories in imaginary worlds.

Then I discovered jewellery.
Jewellery has trends and shifts with fashion, yet there is a strain that has remained the same since Arthurian times. It has sparkly stones, intricate detail and swirling, spiralling metal wire. It looks better as it ages and gains more meaning as the wearer attaches memories and feelings to their favourite piece. They become heirlooms and ancient artefacts.
Since the dawn of time people have worn jewellery for protection and luck, to show their allegiance, and as a symbol of faith, not just for adornment.

It is this tradition I aim to continue. While my pieces are not heirlooms (yet), I'd like them to be unique and speak to their new owners in such a way – let them become a vessel for hopes, focus for a dream or a keeper of memories.
I have been making my jewellery with care and quality for several years now, and the delight and discovery hasn't stopped yet. I hope to keep making jewellery for decades yet and learn many new skills along the way.
It’s the journey that counts.

The majority of my work is created using a metal clay technique. The clay is made of pure metal powders mixed with non-toxic binders and water. When kiln fired, the binders burn away, leaving pure silver, copper or bronze. The metal used in the process is recycled waste mostly from photographic film and liquids. I love the idea that by creating jewellery with this material I am supporting and helping refiners with an ecological approach - so much better for mother earth.
The stones I used are mostly lab created. This is both a cheaper option and a more ethical one. We are not exhausting the planets resources this way or blowing up countryside to get to the gems. The chemical composition of lab created stones are an exact match to naturally occurring stones.

Thank you for stopping by.
I hope my little shop has something that speaks to you.

Hallmarking
The majority of the jewellery I make uses sterling silver components unless otherwise stated in the description.
In accordance with UK law (The Hallmarking Act 1973), if the total metal weight of the jewellery is below 7.78g there is no requirement for the sterling silver component to be hallmarked by an Assay Office.
The vast majority of the jewellery items I sell falls within this category. I have therefore opted not to hallmark these items in order to be able to bring you personalised jewellery at the best possible price - so you don't have to pay for hallmarking that is not required. This does not in any way lower the standards or quality of the items I sell - and the majority will be stamped 925 for sterling silver. It's exactly the same material, it just hasn't been assayed.
Every item advertised which weighs more than 7.78g is hallmarked by Sheffield Assay Office as an additional guarantee to you of the purity of materials used. This service is included within the item price you pay for your personalised jewellery. Unfortunately having an item assayed can take several weeks longer than un-tested items, as it is out of my hands when with the assay office. However, I'll do my best to get your jewellery to you as soon as possible.
