Super fast shipping. Love the fabrics and have already used part of them in a custom order quilt for a fire fighter. Thank you!

absolutely lovely! You can trust the quality, delivery, and kind communication with this seller. Second purchase but NOT the last! It is an exact replica of the larger runner I bought.

About

NannyGrans Quilts on Etsy

The name of my shop was easy to come up with. My sweet grandson called me Nanny from the first time he said my name. Grans is my last name. So it was easy to become NannyGrans.

I started making quilts when I retired in 2006. My main purpose of retirement was to help my daughter after she returned to work. I am probably old fashioned, but family caring for family is the best way to grow up. William was a baby when I started and he entered fourth grade this fall.

I didn't have a lot of time to quilt when he was little. I also didn't have a lot of room to quilt. After we put an addition on our home, I grabbed the "guest" room as my sewing room. My etsy shop was then born.

My favorite part of quilting is the cutting and piecing. I also enjoy the sewing together process. I am constantly amazed at my final piece of artwork. I have an idea in my mind what they will look like, but they always blow me away when I look at the finished product.

I have never been to a quilting class or participated in an online course. I have taught myself by reading quilting books and just being brave and jumping in. I have come a long way since I started in 2006 and expect to continue on my journey for many more years to come.

I have always loved working with fabric and thread. It started with cross stitching and has ended with my love of quilting. Each finished product gives me joy
