5 out of 5 starsThey knitted up larger than I expected. But, I think that was my own mistake. Easy to follow instructions!

5 out of 5 starsI knitted this for a newborn in worsted weight cotton. I’m not sure it’s identifiable as a sheep (I added a tail) but what does a baby know? The only other change I made was to embroider eyes to avoid a choking hazard. The instructions were clear and easy to follow and an overall simpler pattern than other stuffed animals I’ve made.

5 out of 5 starsThis was a lovely pretty simple pattern once I spoke with Nattie Knits to clarify the kind of wrap and turn to do. Unfortunately I ran out of pink yarn so I stopped it and started making the sheep.

5 out of 5 starsOne of the best knitted toy patterns ever! While a bit tricky in some of the tighter spots, the pattern is well written and easy to follow, great construction techniques. I like that it's knit pretty much "in one piece" with no seams, should be more durable in a child's hands (I did the legs in the round with conditional cast-on rather than as written to avoid seams and it worked very well). Perfect for the yarn left over from the blanket.
