Frequently asked questions

I haven't received my item. What do I do?

Delays with postal services and couriers can unfortunately happen and I have no control over them. If you are in the UK please contact me if the item has not arrived after 2 weeks from date of posting. If you are outside of the UK please contact me if the item has not arrived after 6 weeks from date of posting. I will offer a full refund or replacement (if available) once the periods of time outlined above have passed.

What shipping companies do you use?

At the moment I use Royal Mail. I may use the courier Evri on occasions.

My item has arrived damaged/faulty. What do I do?

I take great care in packaging my items and each clock and watch is tested for several hours before despatch. In the unlikely event that you receive a damaged or faulty item, please contact me via the Etsy messages within 3 days of receipt so that we can discuss a solution. In case of damages in transit, a photograph ought to be provided please.

Do you accept returns?

Absolutely! You can return your purchase for any reason within 14 days of receiving the goods. Please contact me via Etsy messages to inform me that you would like to return the item and then post it back within 14 days. A refund will be given once I have received the item back in its original packaging and condition, however the cost of postage for the return is to be paid by the buyer.

How do I insert the battery in the mechanism?

The best way to insert the battery in these specific mechanisms is to lean its positive side (the one with the little knob) inside the battery case first, and then gently but firmly push the negative side (the flat one) in, so that it slides in against the little metal tongue on the left.
