Calendula is incredible for nourishing and healing dry/hurt skin. We hand harvest our our organic homegrown calendula to use in our slow-made body care products; which we mix in micro batches in our lunar apothecary studio.
During these times I am focused on keeping birthing persons connected to their support systems during labor. A labor wrap in an incredible tool to do just this! We are offering a rolling giveaway through our Instagram page @the_barefoot_momma.sparkling_heart
As part of our #safefeelsgood organic campaign: we assure to uphold our promise of full transparency. We are honored and filled with gratitude to make this our promise to you.

Our Story

Cofounded by a mother and daughter team.

We refuse to be greenwashed by false advertising of “eco” “green” “natural” “vegan” “cruelty-free” or “organically grown” anymore.

We chose to become informed consumers and small business owners by taking the deep research dive into the inner truths of cotton farming, fabric dye, the fabric manufacturing chain from seed to mill, and body care ingredients marketed towards the new parent and their newborn(s).

We were heart broken to learn of the toxins, chemicals, waste, and hazardous working standards of the global cotton industry and greenwashing of ingredients for newborn babes.

We decided to build a business we are proud of and respect: knowing where/how/by who all our raw materials are sourced and to understand the monetary exchange of labor in honoring the worker and the planets natural resources.

We are completely committed to certified organic.

We provide our customers only what we would give to our beloveds: the highest of quality and made with loving intention.

We are
Nest and Nurture Organics.

What is the difference of a cut, raw, fray, or sewn bind?

They differ in durability and ease of washing. Traditionally the bind is sewn to provide the most beneficial support and ease of washing/saniti

A pinked cut edge limits the amount of fray because the zigzag crosses the weave of the fabric. May be machine washedd on gentle cycle.

A torn (raw) edge will have many loose threads will still easily come off. Do not purchase an unfrayed raw edge.

A fray edge stabilizes the fabric more by removing lose threads 1/8 inch back to the tighter weave. Hand washing recommended.

Sewn edge should be a rolled serged edge. This finishes the edge giving it stability and strength. May be washed on gentle cycle in the washing machine.
