Mi è sempre piaciuto scattare fotografie. Ma non ho mai avuto più di un interesse casuale prima di essere selezionato dagli editori del National Geographic per un libro speciale, "Getting Your Shot: Stunning Photos, How-to Tips, and Endless Inspiration from the Pros".

Un seme è stato piantato, ed è cresciuto con incredibile voracità. Nel 2015 ho lanciato la mia attività di fotografia. La gente mi dice: "Hai trovato il tuo dono". Sento che mi è stato fatto un dono.

Mi piacciono i colori vivaci, le espressioni naturali e i primi piani. Gli animali e le piante che fotografo sono locali, spesso nel mio quartiere, o scattati negli zoo e nei centri di riabilitazione della fauna selvatica. Adoro poter catturare le bellissime creature e i luoghi della nostra terra, evidenziando le loro caratteristiche e personalità uniche. Il mio obiettivo è iniziare a esplorare di più e fotografare ogni luogo che visito.

Quando mia figlia aveva 11 anni, ha scoperto la passione per la fotografia. Lei è un naturale! Ama la fotografia macro, soprattutto dei fiori. Il suo lavoro ha vinto molti concorsi, tra cui Best of Show for Youth Photography alla Florida State Fair. E così, nel 2020, questo negozio è diventato uno sforzo madre-figlia. I have always enjoyed taking photographs. But I never had more than a casual interest before being selected by National Geographic editors for a special book, "Getting Your Shot: Stunning Photos, How-to Tips, and Endless Inspiration From the Pros."

A seed was planted, and it has grown with incredible voracity. In 2015 I launched my own photography business. People tell me, "You have found your gift." I feel a gift has been given to me.

I like vibrant color, natural expressions and close ups. The animals and plants I photograph are either local - often in my own neighborhood, or taken at zoos and wildlife rehabilitation centers. I love being able to capture the beautiful creatures and places of our earth, highlighting their unique features and personalities. My goal is to begin exploring more and photographing each place I visit.

When my daughter was 11, she discovered a passion for photography. She is a natural! She loves macro photography, especially of flowers. Her work has won many contests, including Best of Show for Youth Photography at the Florida State Fair. And so, in 2020, this shop became a mother-daughter endeavor. You can find her work under, "Katherine Ross Art." She offers some beautiful photography, as well as digital art created from her images.
