All my sales benefit cat rescue non-profit groups. Now offering 5x7 prints!
My shop is a one-woman show. With few exceptions, my items are hand-cut, hand-stamped, hand-assembled, and hand-packaged. By ordering from me, you're getting a truly hand-made product. Please read each item listing and my Policies section carefully for estimated turn-around times and shipping methods.

If you have questions, I'm just a "convo" away. :)

All shipping & handling prices include the cost of a tracking number, which I'll send to you in an email once I've mailed your order.

I ship to the address that I am sent when you place your order. Please note that PayPal might have a different address for you than does Etsy, so be sure to verify that the shipping address is correct before completing your order.

Sustainability is really important to me, so I try to minimize my waste during my creative process. I reuse or recycle everything I can, and donate or give away things that are usable but not to me. I only put something in the "trash" as a last resort. I also reuse and use recycled materials for packaging and shipping when possible.

My living space is smoke-free but has cat hair from my furry buddies. I try to keep the hair out of shipments, but occasionally one slips past me unnoticed.

If you'd like a custom order- a different quantity than listed, a different color or arrangement- just let me know! Many of my items are made-to-order, so there's a lot of room for creativity. And, I can always make more for you than the number listed in stock, unless it's one-of-a-kind.

Gift wrapping, messages, and shipments available! Send me a convo for details.

A percentage of all sales is donated to one of two feral cat rescue groups: Cat Zip Alliance in Athens, Georgia, or Victoria Trap Neuter Return in Victoria, Texas. Both groups are 501(c)3 nonprofits that provide sterilization and care for feral cats, and rehoming of adoptable cats and kittens. Learn more about the work of Cat Zip Alliance at www.catzip.org, and Victoria TNR at www.victoriatnr.org.

About

Nature nut makes crafts & photos

I've been playing around with crafts and photography all my life. I started painting wooden birdhouses as a hobby in 2012, and soon had more than I knew what to do with. I opened my shop as a way to offload these and other surplus projects, but I soon realized how much I enjoyed the Etsy community, and decided to expand the shop as a small business experiment.

I've always been a nature nut, and I'm an ecologist by training, so choosing nature as a theme for my shop was a no-brainer.

I work from my craft room, usually with the help of one of my cats and a Clint Eastwood movie. Crafting is a stress-relief and a joy for me. I get an idea and can't wait to see it finished! I also love photography, and my work tends to focus on the tiny details that often go unnoticed.

Sustainability is really important to me, so I try to minimize my waste during my creative process. I reuse or recycle everything I possibly can, and donate or give away things that are usable but not to me. I only put something in the "trash" as an absolute last resort. I hope you'll reuse and/or recycle my packaging and encourage others to do the same.

I'm a big fan of animal welfare, and a percentage of all my sales are donated to cat rescue non-profit groups. See the descriptions of each item for more details.

Connect with me any time by pushing that blue "contact" button on the left sidebar. It's like email for Etsy. :)

    Owner

    I'm an ecologist by training, so minimizing my impact on the environment is important to me. I'm also inspired by nature, hence my shop name and products' themes. And I adore cats.

  • Sylvester

    Communications

    Sylvester is my new baby, a shy little boy I adopted from Victoria TNR. He's the communications specialist, because he runs around the house, chirping at everyone.

  • Amelia

    Assistant

    Amelia was a bottle-baby that I just couldn't give up. She's now a teenage terror, who likes to assist with projects large and small... especially if paper is involved.

  • Olivia

    Customer Relations

    Livvy is in charge of customer relations, because she's a multi-lingual chatter-box.

  • Samantha & Endora

    Comic Relief Specialists

    Sammy and Endora are sisters that I rescued from the shelter. Together, they specialize in comic relief, and Endora is a biscuit-making pro.

  • Leo

    Food Specialist

    Leo's specialty is food- he reminds me when it's time to stop and eat.

  • Oliver

    Emotional Support Specialist

    Oliver is my snuggle-bunny and emotional support specialist.

  • SpaceKitty

    Curator

    This is my sweet SpaceKitty, whom I lost to cancer in 2012. Check out the 100% charity donation card set I made in her honor.

Hi there, and thanks for visiting NatureGoods!

Gift wrapping, messages, and shipments available! Send me a convo for details.

Each item is hand- stamped,- cut, -printed, or -assembled by me! You can be sure you're getting a special item that was made with care.

Sustainability is really important to me, so I try to minimize my waste during my creative process. I reuse or recycle everything I possibly can, and donate or give away things that are usable but not to me. I only put something in the "trash" as an absolute last resort!

My living space is smoke-free but has cat hair from my furry buddies. I try to keep the hair out of shipments, but occasionally one slips past me unnoticed.

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
  • Money Order
  • Other Method
Payment
I accept payment via credit, debit, and gift card through Etsy, and with PayPal, and USPS money order.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
CREDIT CARD, DEBIT CARD, GIFT CARD, AND PAYPAL PAYMENTS
If you pay using one of these methods, I'll start working on your order as soon as your payment clears.
MONEY ORDER PAYMENTS
I don't accept personal checks, because they could "bounce" and cause problems. I do accept USPS money orders, which anyone can buy. I only take the type from USPS because they're guaranteed to be legitimate. If you pay using this method I'll start working on your order as soon as I receive your payment.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I'm also open to trades. I'm especially interested in recycled envelopes, recycled paper, decorations for note cards (stickers, die cuts, paper animals and plants), and rubber stamps. Let me know if you're interested in trading!
Shipping
All shipping & handling prices include the cost of a tracking number, which I'll send to you in an email once I've mailed your order.

Please allow 2-3 weeks (after your payment clears) for me to ship items. Usually I can send your order sooner, but occasionally it takes longer for me to get it ready. In general, I can mail photos and stamped card sets sooner than other items. Let me know if you need an item by a specific date and I'll tell you if I can do that.

I ship to the address that I am sent when you place your order. Please note that PayPal might have a different address for you than does Etsy, so be sure to verify that the shipping address is correct before completing your order.

I use USPS First Class mail to ship all my items, unless you select an upgrade. Let me know if you'd like to add insurance, and I'll create a special listing for you.

I pack everything with lots of padding because I hate getting broken stuff in the mail too. If you ever get one of my items that's damaged in transit, just let me know and I'll give you a full refund or ship a replacement to you at no cost.

Also, I only use plastic as an absolute last resort, because it's so damaging to the environment. I'll make every effort to use recycled materials, reused paper, and rescued cardboard to ship your items. If you get your item and there's plastic in the packaging, it's most likely being reused. I hope you'll reuse and recycle the packaging too! :)
Refunds and Exchanges
I offer a no-questions-asked satisfaction guarantee. If you decide you're not satisfied with your order within 7 days of receipt, just let me know and I'll give you a full refund. You won't even have to ship the item back to me!
Additional policies and FAQs
I'm not a math fan, so to make it easy on all of us, I offer flat rate shipping within each of my categories.

I AM a fan of animal welfare organizations, so a percentage of all my sales benefit cat rescue nonprofit organizations. See each item listing for details.
