Announcement Outlet for sales of natural items that I gather during my forays. Thirty year history of foraging edible and medicinal wild mushrooms and plants. Gathering various types of wood species from the forest provides materials for my woodworking hobby with extras also for sale. When fishing wild waters, paddling my canoe or camping in some new place it is always with a secondary plan of finding something useful to take home. Whether I take home some birch bark, a northern white cedar log, a slab of wood from a storm shattered hickory tree or mushrooms such as reishi, morels, chanterelles or chaga there is always a season for searching and lugging home something to use for a project or for sale.

Mike is awesome! I love his organic apple sticks, twigs, and branches. I custom order freshly harvested then I wash, boil, and bake them for my chinchillas. I use the thicker ones to make cool designs in the chinchilla cages, makes for fun projects.

Most Of My Hobbies Involve Being In The Outdoors So Being Surrounded By Woods And Streams Is Perfect

I'm and old retired grandfather of three and my hobbies are greenwood wood working, wild edible plant foraging, picking wild edible and medicinal mushrooms, exploring new forest areas, native trout fishing and golfing and being a "Picker", that is, a buyer of vintage books and stuff..
Many people that retire need a hobby or two. I need to get rid of some of mine. There are not enough hours in a day.
Now that I have a really good outlet for selling stuff ( Etsy - much better than others ) I can take long walks / hikes in the woods and never exit without a bunch of stuff to sell.
Pays for the gas at least.
And, when an order is requested for some specific woodsy item, I am provided an excuse for heading for the boondocks.
I always say to my wife - " someone has to do it".
She does not like that phrase.
