Nothing makes me so happy as to observe nature and to paint what I see.

Thank you for visiting my art shop. I’m a french watercolor artist and illustrator, living and working on the north coast of Brittany, France westernmost region.

Having grown up in a seaside resort on the Channel’s French coast, the ocean is an element that is intimately linked with my identity. I used to spend as much time as possible outdoors at the beach or in the countryside, where I developed my interest in the natural world.

Primarily a self-taught artist, I've been painting with watercolor since I was 16 and I’m more passionate about it now than ever. I love the luminous colors, the simplicity and transparency of watercolor pigments.

During the 20 past years, I enjoyed a career as a stained glass artist, also worked as a ceramic painter, and earned a degree in jewelry design and metal arts. I've been a watercolor artist and freelance illustrator since 2012.

Working in both the studio and in the field, my primary interest as an artist is the contemplation of nature.

Gardening, beachcombing, and the beautiful Breton landscapes are the source of my inspiration. I enjoy painting seascapes, boats and harbours as much as illustrating the surrounding wildlife, in particular seashells, seaweeds and birds.

In my off time, you will probably find me walking along the beach or hiking in the countryside with a sketchbook or a camera in hand, gathering up nature’s treasures, in search of peace, harmony and fresh ideas.

Thank you for reading and visiting my shop! Happy shopping :)

I'm just a girl who is happiest with a brush in her hand and sand between her toes. My art is about finding the beauty out of the simple and natural things from the sea and joy that comes with them.

Frequently asked questions

The fine art printing world uses the term today to describe the class of digital inkjet prints that are deemed museum-quality archival prints. A giclee print is simply a professionally made inkjet print made from a high-resolution digital file.

All my prints are archival reproductions printed on white Hahnemühle's German Etching paper, 310gsm, 100 % cellulose. This heavyweight etching board is velvety smooth with a fine surface texture.

Produced in my own studio in France, they are printed on Epson Stylus Pro 3000 using Epson UltraChrome® HDR Ink (Epson's latest generation of pigment ink technology). These archival pigmented inks are light-fast and fade-resistant, resulting in prints capable of lasting over a lifetime under proper archival handling.

You will be amazed by the high quality of my giclee prints. The colors are beautiful and delicate, and the subtle velvety surface structure provides an amazing depth very close to the original.

Original watercolors and giclee prints should be kept from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures and humidity. The paper contracts and relaxes naturally, and extreme temperatures and moisture will in time cause deterioration. Also, no watercolor pigment is 100% lightfast, and direct sunlight may cause certain colors to fade.

Make sure your new watercolor or print has a glass covering to protect against dust and moisture and an acid-free mat or spacer to keep the painting from touching the glass. Along with an acid-free or acid-neutral mat, be sure the backing is also acid-free.

Please note the difference between the image size and the paper size. Image size is the actual image area, whereas the paper size refers to the overall paper dimensions. My prints are designed to work with both ready-made and custom frames, so I leave an ample border around the image to allow for mat clearance (if required).

A6 paper size => image will fit a 3"x5" frame
A5 paper size => image will fit a 5"x7" frame
A4 paper size => image will fit a 8"x10" frame
A3 paper size => image will fit a 11"x14" frame
