I love to design and make wire knitting jewelry

A couple of years ago, I started making jewelry. I realized that the market was flooded with a lot of cheap jewelry and I decided to do something different.
The technique that I use is known as Viking Knitting. Viking knit is a type of wire weaving or trichinopoly chainwork, date back to the 7th and 8th century AD in the Scandinavian countries.
It looks like knitting and consists of interlocking loops that are made around a base or mandrel. The result is a woven tube; with this you can create bracelets, necklaces and earrings.
The materials I am using are mostly silver plated, gold plated and color plated copper wire, together with crystals, freshwater pearls, precious and semi-precious stones.
The knitting is a therapy for me and I love to create, design and make new jewelry.
Two years ago I joined the San Dieguito Art Gallery, posting some of my art work. My designs won first and second places for many times in a row.

Creating jewelry is my passion. I studied Art in Israel and worked as a teacher for many years and teaching adults hot enamel technique. Years passed and I raised my kids and now is the perfect time to go back to design and make jewelry.
