About NeedANeedle
In danger of being featured on the next episode of Hoarders: Crafter's Edition
I've been doing needlework since I was a kid after being taught by my grandmother and encouraged by my mother. When my mom passed, I inherited her stash of cross stitch patterns and every other craft she dabbled in. I knew I couldn't possibly use it all so on a lark, I decided to open an Etsy store to "destash" some of it. I call it my accidental business because it soon took off and I haven't looked back. The funny thing is, I still have most of my mom's stuff. I can't quite bear to part with it yet. :) In the last couple of years, I have had a ball running around all over creation finding and buying these fabulous vintage and not-so-vintage patterns, books, and kits to pass on to my fellow crafty peeps. Thanks for stopping by! :)

Returns and exchanges
As far as speed of delivery goes, I have zero control over what happens after I hand your purchase over to the postal service to have them deliver it to your door. I make every effort to mail each package within 2 business days of purchase. I also provide insurance on all purchases over $50.
If an item arrives damaged or does not arrive at all, please let me know.
Because of the nature of the items, returns are not accepted for pattern purchases.
Payment
Sales tax of 6% will be added to the final cost of the purchase for Idaho residents only. It will not be added to purchases made by buyers who reside outside of Idaho.
Shipping
I ship First Class or Media Mail via USPS with tracking for shipment to US addresses. The cutoff for First Class is 13 ounces total weight. Anything over 13 ounces will be going out Media Mail which will add a few days to the shipping time. According to the USPS, the shipping time for First Class is 2-5 days for delivery and Media Mail is 2-8 days. The only thing I can guarantee is that I will ship items on time. I cannot guarantee a delivery date.
Purchases being shipped outside the US will go First Class International. The customs form will be on the outside of the package with the full purchase value and will not be labeled as anything other than what it is. I prefer my comfy house over jail.

All items are shipped in either a rigid photo mailer or a poly bubble mailer. I never received my letter from Hogwarts. As a result, I am a lowly Muggle and cannot consult a crystal ball or wave a wand to predict how fast it will get there. If you are a wizard or a witch and would like your item delivered by owl, by all means, send one over to pick up your purchase. The owl will know where to find me. If your owl is otherwise occupied and you need expedited shipping, let me know and I will adjust the cost for a speedier delivery.
To quote Etsy's Policy: "Etsy does not hold sellers responsible for incorrect shipping address submissions. The buyer must provide correct addresses in both their Etsy and PayPal accounts at the time of checkout."
Please please please make sure your address is correct!
