Announcement   Every craft has a season just like our wardrobe. Oh, if we kept the shoes from twenty years ago, they would be in style now, but the wrong color. Our color scheme changes in our homes, so it only makes sense that blanket colors or craft colors will change with the new trends. I have recently added a few new blankets with the new colors of material that is available. One is the vanilla bean. Most of my projects (at least in the store) are sold to people who enjoy the story behind 'Swedish weaving". There are not a lot of people that do I today,, because it was something that our grandparents use to do when they didn't have a lot of money. Perhaps you can remember some towels or blankets around your grandparents house that look very similar to the Swedish weaving? Simply said: Great memories!

Each project takes many hours to complete even the smallest project, however, it is the nicest way of telling someone you are thinking of them during the good and bad which simply happens in Life. Any project can be a special way to express your love to someone in your life.

I have blankets with snowflakes, pointsettia's, burnt orange, red, sage green to soft pink stars and more. I truly appreciate your looking at the items I have for sale and welcome any comments you may want to share. There are five colors of monks cloth that are no longer available. Mauve, Lime Green, Peach, Burnt orange and Hot Pink are among those colors being discontinued. Hopefully we have new colors to look forward to in 2013-14 to add to our collection.

Please take the time to look at the local news feature that Kathy Zimmerman wrote for the ully local newspaper. She did an awesome job.

The gift of giving is special to the one who receives the gift as well as for the one who gives the gift. Much like loving someone, we don't do anything expecting something in return. So, the gift can be any size and it is truly a symbol of our love. We all have loved ones that we enjoy saying "I Love You". E-mail me and let me know if there is a special gift you would like to create for your loved one. I have made king size bed covers to french door valances. Any project from my shop would last for years. Thank you for visiting Neenersweaving.

Love this beautiful runner that I requested. Colleen is so talented to do this by hand. I appreciate that I come to her with an idea and she does her best to hit it spot on👍

About

Each project is unique and special!

Hi! I was on a Winter vacation when I had heard about Etsy (not for the first time), and decided "Nothing ventured, nothing gained". It didn't take long to set up the shop. I have always sold my projects to people who see the work. I still find it difficult to capture the elegance of the swedish weaving in a picture. I think people have some sort of idea what it is before they order on Etsy.

My life is very busy, however I find swediish weaving very relaxing. It is one of the few crafts one can do while reading an audio book. In between everything I am doing, I am attempting to create a memory book for my parents 60th anniversary.....so I am truly busy. Have a great shopping experience on Etsy.com.

I have enclosed a couple projects that I believe are unique. I thought you may enjoy looking at some of the many possibilities one can do with the swedish weaving. It truly is only limited by our own thinking..

I truly love where I am in my life. I can spend the evening creating a gift for someone, read a book or spend special time with family and friends. My dad would say, "It cann't get any better".

Payment
Paypal or money order. Paypal will verify the physical address you want the merchandise sent to.
Shipping
I have no intentions of making money on the shipping. If I charge you $10.00 and it only cost $5.00, I will send you a return money order or make a payment to your Paypal account for the difference. The difference has to be more than 10%, otherwise I am spending too much time over a few pennys. If it cost more than I estimate, then I will gladly make the difference up.

LOCAL SALES: If you can make a local pickup, then etsy charges the shipping and I will return the shipping cost when you pick up your project.

I prefer to send USPS and your shipping cost will not include insurance. At this time I do not have enough knowledge to know the procedures to send to international customers. I know the postage is about four times more to send to overseas.
Refunds and Exchanges
No refunds or exchanges. If your package is damaged or lost, you will be refunded your purchase cost as soon as FED EX (USPS or UPS)pays me. I THINK it would take about a month from the time it is determined missing. There is no way to verify a shipment overseas, so there is no insurance available for lost or damaged merchandise. Sorry!
Additional policies and FAQs
I am available to help you place a special order in your favoriate colors. There are 24 colors of monk cloth and hundreds in yarn. I look forward to assisting someone with a special request and or special occassion. For instance, a college graduation is coming up this June and you want to provide a unique gift in the colors that the graduate hold special to them.
