NeerlyObsessed's Shop Announcement

Hi, my name is John Brickley, and welcome to my etsy shop!
This shop is very much a family effort, with my wife as my official sounding board, and my young daughter giving her stamp of approval to each new piece.

Most of my pieces are working with exotic wood veneers to create exquisite designs and pictures using a technique called marquetry. My fascination with the art form has grown exponentially over the years, motivating me to constantly improve my craft to attain the perfection this technique demands.

About 50% of my work is in commissioned custom pieces, with a wide range of requests, such as memory and cigar boxes, plaques and awards, company logos, and wood interpretations of photographs- to name just a few! So if you have a special something in mind, I’d love to help you make it become a reality.

My love of all things wood leads me to occasionally dabble in other woodworking compositions, as you will periodically see in my shop. But my true love and near obsession is for veneer, and I am thrilled to be able to turn my passion into pieces that others love as much as we do.
