Announcement    My work is carefully done to give each figure its own personality, with each figure requiring several hours, but with no two being identical. Due to the amount of time involved, I do not sell wholesale, nor do I attempt to do custom orders. There is no assembly line, and no portion of this work is hired out. The entire project is completed by the artist and her husband, who makes the bases to start with, and package shipping at the end.
If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

The Story of NeeSeY's WiNgS

My sister, Denyse ( Neesey ), had been a collector of the Old World Santa for several years, since spending time in Germany with her military husband. During the years of 2012-2013, my sister became very sick and the future did not look too promising for her. This led me to thinking about wanting to give my sister something from my heart and made with my own hands. I decided that it must be an Old World Santa figure, being the one thing she collected. The problem was that I had no idea as how to go about it. So I prayed asking the Lord to direct my thoughts and efforts so that I might be able to do this. I prayed, I studied, and I worked hour upon hour for about two months or longer. After many tears, and even more trial and error attempts, finally the efforts began to come together and produced the very first Old World creation by my hands. My sister was overjoyed with her Christmas gift.
Months passed and my sister’s health improved, so the 2nd project began to be in the making to be given to "Neesey" at her birthday. By this completion, I truly felt my Lord’s help in the project work, so the work goes on. After a couple of months, the third figure was finished and my husband claimed it to be his. So we have one lonely Old World figure staying at our house.
During the fall of that year, I met a new friend, Barbara, from Ohio. Upon her learning what had being going on in my life, and photos were shared with her of my work, she immediately asked if I would consider making a figure for her. So the work was to be continued, with a 4th to be created, packaged and shipped to her home in Ohio. Barbara was so thrilled and her compliments were unending. Little time passed before Barbara ordered another, and this was the boost I needed to continue this “heart felt” work. I decided to "spread my wings", and make my work available to friends and neighbors that we meet along life’s pathway.
As for my sister, it is over three years later, and she still lives. Her health is holding up, and she is doing well, with our thanks until our Lord.
Meanwhile, the spreading of my wings has proven to be a slow process, but we have just completed our debut show (November, 2016) and it was well received. My Etsy account was opened in December 2016, and here we are now.
Our first full year on Etsy was great, and I extend my many thanks to those who chose to honor me by purchasing one or more of my Old World Santa figures.
This project is dedicated in name to my dear sister, "Neesey" but for the success
of these creations, my husband and I give all glory and honor to our partner, the Lord Jesus Christ .
